Leaving early from your place of stay in Puerto Varas we head straight to the foothills of the imposing Osorno Volcano, with a height of 2,652 metres. We will arrive at the height of the Ski Centre to prepare and start our hike at 1,200 metres above sea level towards the Glacier viewpoint located on the volcano at 1,800 metres above sea level with an ascent of at least 3 hours. Upon arrival we can rest and observe the characteristic Seracs of the glacier. We will begin our descent towards the Red Crater, one of the many side craters that possesses the volcano and the most accessible. We continue descending until we finish our walk at the starting point where we will get to the transport that will take us back to Ensenada. IMPORTANT: Hike 3 km (6 km total return) Route stone and volcanic sand in summer. Snow and ice in winter.
