What you can expect

Meet your guide in Wrocław and being your full-day tour. Drive along a scenic route from Wrocław to the city of Sobotka, one of the more unique and mysterious places in Poland. The city is located at the foot of Mount Sleza, a ridge emerges from the monotonous Silesian lowlands to a height of 718 metres, dominating the landscape of the province.

Explore the market square, then listen to the fascinating history of the different tribes that have lived in the area since the Bronze Age. Admire ancient stone sculptures that were religious symbols. Make a brief stop at the archaeological site of Bedkowice to see what early Slavic settlements looked liked. Continue to the village of Krzyzowa, home to the Foundation for Mutual Understanding in Europe.

Once there, find out about the Polish-German Reconciliation Mass, celebrated on the November 12, 1989. Afterwards, travel to Swidnica to admire the enchanting city with its impressive cathedral and picturesque market square. Enjoy free time for lunch or to explore on your own. Finally, pay a visit to the marvellous Church of Peace, the largest wooden church in Europe. After this, relax on the ride back to Wrocław.
