Great stay
The hotel is wonderful. Good food and beautiful views. Check in however is painful. They sit you down, make you fill out this whole thing on an iPad and the nice lady was trying to get us to go eat before going to the room. It was 21:30 after a long travel day and I just wanted to wash my face and take my shoes off. It would be ideal if you just hand over your passport and card, and have them fill out the info and hand you a key card. The balconies could use a bed or ottomans to put your feet up.

The hotel is unique - it has a position on a hill overlooking on all sides the sea and the gardens are beautifully kept. There is space to wander around a beautiful beach and though you know you are there with other people a space and tranquility too. The restaurant near the bar is wonderfully overseen and you are treated with real friendliness.

Minos Palace is a gorgeous property with wonderful staff and top notch service. The hotel was able to arrange a taxi for us from and to the airport. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a larger room with a nicer sea view, received a very warm welcome with a welcome drink and tour of the hotel. The food is excellent, every staff member is very friendly and attentive, and the amenities were fantastic - spa, restaurant, lounge area with live music & DJ, pool, beach, and wellness activities like yoga and sound baths. It's also a short walk to the town. I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation in a beautiful setting, and would easily stay here again. Thank you to the team at Minos Palace!

I and my daughter have been to this hotel 3 times. This time the rooms had been upgraded and it was even better. The view from the Zen room was fabulous and the general vibe is understated, sophisticated and relaxing. Its not a fun party place - although the staff are fun and always friendly. Its a beautiful place - fabulous natural surroundings and I will return next year. The only issue was with guests in family groups blocking sunbeds which mean that even if you get up early all the beds have towells on and nobody shows up until after breakfast finishes at 1030. There are notices out to say dont do this but there is not any real consequence for those that do. still this was not on every day and didnt really spoil our trip.

This is such an amazing hotel. It’s modern, clean, the breakfast is excellent, the staff are so helpful and friendly. It’s an easy walk into the town if you are able, otherwise it’s a very quick taxi ride. I have stayed at other five star hotels in Greece and this one definitely earned its five stars. We stayed in a sunrise room and it had all the mod cons that you would need. The bed was so comfortable, the shower was excellent. I really liked the fact that it had air conditioning and a fan in the ceiling in the bedroom so you could regulate the temperature to your liking. I would highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel is excellent we stayed in the upper deck infinity rooms which were quiet and comfortable. An issue with the air conditioning was quickly sorted out. This hotel is not worth the money, nor it’s star rating for many reasons 1. The suite we had was on a lower level -like a basement. As a result the room was muggy, smelly and damp. 2. Pillows were terrible. We had requested soft pillows in advance which we never received. It is impossible to sleep with the pillows in the room. They are hard and thick, 3. There is no turn down service 4. As a result of the lack of turn down service we left used towels outside the room. These were never taken away 5. Lack of basic bathroom my toiletries like shower cap and cotton buds 6. There is an internal vent in the bathroom through which we could here every single word that was spoken in the neighbouring room. I imagine we could be heard too 7. Terrible bed mattress. 8. The Sunbeds are awful -they are old and sagging. 9. Overall the hotel is very run down with aged and dirty communal areas I regret the money I paid for this hotel. It’s worth half the price.

Overall the hotel was very good .Staff friendly and food good. My first disappointment was the gym. The Running machine and exercise bike were old and worn out and they were rusty. They both need replacing immediately as I actually didn't think they were safe to use. I also wasn't happy that you had to pay for bottled water in the rooms. Every 5 star hotel I have stayed in before supply bottle drinking water in the room and replenish every day. They were charging €1.80 for a 500ml bottle of cheap branded of water. Apart from that our overall stay was very good.

Amazing property in front of the sea (take "Ocean view" for an open view on the sea, while "Sea view" is for the view on the port side (partial sea view, then). I enjoyed the shared pool with my room for more privacy and loved the access to a beautiful private beach (it's a pity that some customers always reserved for the whole day their sunbed, though). The breakfast buffet is amazing with an extraordinary choice of local food. Definitely a lovely stay, perfect to relax.
