The hotel was impressive, with a sleek, modern design. It's located just a 10-minute walk from the train station, making it easily accessible. I always like to give nice hotels the benefit of the doubt. I have a three-strikes rule. If three stays in a row have issues - it comes off my list. After two previous problems - this time - the room safe wasn't working. Reported immediately on checkin on Sunday. Nothing could be done as no maintenance people on a Sunday. No offer of room move. Might feel like a trivial thing, but it's a business hotel and having to carry your laptop, passport etc around town in the evening is unsafe and inconvenient. Three days later at checkout, safe still not working. Checkout clerk asked 'was everything ok with your stay'. When I said 'not really, I won't be back'. No further inquiry about the issue- simply said 'sorry to hear that'. Such a shame as it's otherwise an ok hotel, just getting a little tired and staff with poor morale.
