Such a quaint little property. Gives a bit of a retro vibe in a good way. It's very affordable, coffee, hairdryer, breakfast and recently updated. If your not a 90210 pampered housewife and you want a clean,safe, friendly atmosphere then this is a good choice. We booked at Expedia 74.00 1st night and 89.00 the following night. The heat was out in our room but the front desk gave us a space heater and it ran us out of our room it worked so well. Worth not paying 300 to 400 a night.

We stay here almost everytime we come through Anchorage - price is decent - free airport shuttle - great location - restaurants are close and McDonald’s is next door for early morning coffee

The walls were paper thin. We could hear our neighbor snore. Also, the water stopped working on the day we left. I think if I had stayed in the new section, it would have been good. Don't stay in the old section. The front desk staff was very good and when our water stopped working, she let us use another room to shower.

The room was dirty. My socks turned brown from walking around. There was debris on the floor that wasn't swept. I got jabbed by something on the floor. The room was old and smelled. The walls are not sound proofed and I could hear the person in the adjacent room snoring. To make matters worse the staff opened my room at 2am and tried to enter with a guest. I told them to leave. She apologized and said the other woman said this was her room. I did file a complaint with the front desk in the morning. They said to go through you for a refund.

I have stayed at other places in area, but came back to Puff (I've stayed here once b4 months ago). Staff is great. Rooms are clean. Hotel offers airport shuttle and is close to restaurants. I will stay here again.
