My kids and I arrived late in the evening to the hotel yet the staff was aware and waiting for us. The staff were soooooo nice and friendly, always helpful and so respectful the entire duration of our stay (6 nights). It's a beautiful hotel, 10-15 minutes walking distance to Antigua center (depending on your pace). Right on the corner there is an amazing sourdough bakery, so every day on the way out or back to the hotel, we would stop by and get croissant or breakfast and OMG their pizza was great.
The hotel rooms were super clean. There is a safe in the room, which was great since I could leave our valuables in there. The shower/water is tricky to get the right temperature as it gets hot and cold, but it is not a big issue.
The hotel lobby was very cute and I would sit out there in the afternoons, when taking a midday break at the hotel.
I needed laundry to be done and for US$8, I was able to hand over a bag full of dirty clothes and it was in my room the next afternoon, all folded too. Very convenient.
I would highly recommend this hotel and I would definitely go back there next time I go to Antigua.
