AVOID! DIDNT HAVE ROOM despite confirming my reservation. Paid exorbitant Uber fees to get to and from hotel. Waste of money!! Should be reimbursed but couldn’t even give me anything in writing to confirm they cancelled. Will never stay at Kimpton or IHG property again!!

The ladies at the front desk were extremely helpful and patient but I couldn't give five stars to the staff because of housekeeping. Honestly, I have stayed at this property a few times and have never experienced anything like this stay. Upon my arrival, I pushed the door open to the shower, showered and when I reached for the handle to get out I saw a used dry washcloth (used by a prior guest). I was disgusted and totally grossed out. They sent housekeeping to come clean the room so I had to get dressed and go downstairs until they were done. The mirror over the sink wasn't working so we had no task lighting to utilize doing hair, makeup, brush teeth etc. Maintenance said he would come back the next day to repair but did not. Upon checking out we were given free parking for our trouble.

This was my 43rd birthday weekend and I chose Kimpton Overland Hotel because of the location and I'm so pleasee that i did!! EVERYTHING was overly what i imagined!! From the time i pulled in until i left was amazing!! This is definitely my go to spot from here on out!! Thanks for the great customer service that was presented to me!! I didn’t realize this property was a pet friendly hotel. Just about every guest had a dog. If you are not a dog lover, I suggest you do not stay here. The rooms are spacious and comfortable.

While this property is convenient in relation to close proximity to the airport, it is getting a bit outdated. The carpet is old and dingy looking. My room has 2 holes in the wall that were replastered, but not repainted. So there were 2 giant white spots on the grey wall. I don’t like that there isn’t a separator between the room and the bathroom. It’s just open. While that works if you’re a couple, I was traveling with my daughter. Also, when did they start charging for parking. I don’t remember that the last time I stayed. They’re also charging $30 a night for an open parking lot that is never remotely full. I can see if there was a parking garage that constituted a fee, but a plain empty and open parking lot makes no sense. This property is not the typical standard of a Kimpton property.

Stayed here when our flight was delayed. Very clean and staff was so helpful and friendly. The double beds were small for 2 people and the shower didn’t have a door so you got out of the shower right into the bedroom with no privacy. The area is super cool with the Porsche experience right outside. It was closed when we were there but would be fun to watch if it was going. Restaurant on site was good and staff very friendly.

Pros: The shuttle service was timely and driver helpful with luggage and very friendly. Close drive to airport. Spacious room with sitting area. Comfortable bed. Convenient to highway access. Luggage carts readily available. Overnight airport stay Cons: no toilet paper or tissue in room when we checked in at night. After a few hrs the front desk had to get some for us herself (very thankful!). Nightly parking fee. Layout of the bathroom is not ideal (minimal privacy, counter space and warmth). Limited options for room service menu.
