Wonderful getaway spot
4 miles of walking trails easily marked, bikes and kayaks to use. They also have a tennis court. Very quiet and tranquil in some areas. And their Breakfast is awesome.

It's going to be difficult to summarize just how good this facility is with one short paragraph. The rooms are fantastic. The way the compound is laid out along the coast amongst the forrest is really amazing. The landscaping was phenomenal, the food was great, the view from the beach/dock/etc was awesome. I really don't know how you could make this place any better. There's a ton to offer for all ages and interests at this Lodge...including free bicycles & kayaks. The rooms were fully stocked with just about anything you could want. The pillows on the bed were so comfortable, I fell asleep watching TV. The staff were super friendly and accommodating....I've stayed in Door County every Fall for the past several years. This was by far my favorite stay. Had I known it was going to be this great I would have stayed longer.

Wonderful grounds by Lake Michigan with some retro touches. Beautiful landscaping filled with flowers and autumn decor. Wish they were open through Christmas.

Location was amazing. We had all three rooms with fall view which was amazing. One thing, my room window had bad condensation between the glass layer, so the view was little obstructed but other two rooms had the great view. It was very busy and it seemed like communication between the staffs were little lost.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The amenities and scenery are by far the best part. We really enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and heated pool. The breakfast was great, and the restaurant had good drinks. The view of the bay is beautiful and we loved seeing that from our room window!

An absolutely delightful visit. Going off season was really nice as we felt like we had the entire resort to ourselves. It's beautiful and located perfectly for visiting multiple towns for dinner and biking. Customer service was TOP NOTCH!

We had an excellent time in our 3 day stay, very quiet, beautiful setting. Excellent staff, easy check in. Daily easily seen eater conditions, so you will kmow if you can use tbe property provided kayaks in the bay, life jackets also available, many sizes. The pool and hottub was excellent and clean.The daily breakfast was excellent!! Our room was cleaned daily. Coffee available in the lobby ior you can make it in your room. We would definitely stay at the Gorden Lodge again!!
