Fantastic hotel/apartment stay in a perfect beach location and setting. 3 minutes away are plenty of grocery stores, quaint outdoor restaurants, and the beach is right there. The design is Barcelonian, with simple furnishings and very clean with all the amenities one would need. The staff was also super helpful with any questions or needs. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The Lugaris and the staff were excellent. The staff were friendly, informative and really cared about us as guests. The Lugaris is well situated in Barcelona, Poblenou is an excellent neighbourhood with lots to do, see and eat. We highly recommend this property and we will be back.

The property was great and ALL of the staff were excellent. Great mix of locals and tourists. The location was perfect! I would recommend this spot to anyone. It’s a 7-10min walk to the underground train station and about €2 a trip. It’s worth it to figure out the train because it’s so easy and really opens up Barcelona to you. It was wonderful to have our nice chill beach apartment to come home to after a tourist city day! One more time … the staff were amazing! Even mailed our postcards home for us. 11/10 service!

Superb location - very close to the beach, restaurants, supermarkets. We really enjoyed walking down The Rambla Poblenou, which is a 2 minute walk, to eat, shop, drink, look at the architecture. This beautiful, long street leads away from the beach and up to the tram to take you further afield. You can also take buses easily from outside the hotel to central Barcelona. The beach right across from the hotel is beautiful and you can walk along left or right to the other beaches. Excellent service - staff were always ready to help. They offered beach towels and an umbrella to borrow for the beach. They gave us good advice and were there if we needed them. The pool was great! A perfect space to sunbathe and relax in the pool with a beautiful view of the ocean one side and the city on the other. A nice surprise was a birthday message and gift of chocolates for one of us left in the apartment. Comfortable apartment - rooms were clean and spacious. We had 2 bathrooms for 5 of us. There was a kitchen, dining area and comfortable bedrooms with plenty of wardrobe space. Comfortable beds. Air conditioning provided a cool haven from the scorching sun on very hot days. Loved it, we would go back! Thank you Lugaris!

We booked this property for a large family gathering. Within 3 hours of checking in, we were robbed in the courtyard of the property. This was a traumatic experience for the children who witnessed the incident. The property management never took ownership of the incident. If you value your family’s security, stay away from this place.

The cons: the room was extremely unclean (dust and dirt everywhere), floors never washed, the amenities was sparse to non existent and the communication was poor with staff members. We were even told we had to bring our own toilet paper and bought our own bath soap. The dryer machine does not work AT ALL. And the room key is very challenging. After a really long day, we were locked out of our room and needed help getting in. We were not provided with any of our VIP perks nor upgrade or even a substitute for these items. The pros: excellent centralized location for beach and transit. The two ladies on staff are extremely helpful. No one else is. We asked for extra towels for example and received nothing. For the price we paid and the service we received not worth it. Which is a shame.

Great spot near the beach in El Poblenou
Great spot with amenities and beach by! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Nice and quiet at night. Pool was small but that’s okay. Perfect to dip in to cool off.

We had the most terrifying experience ever. Just a couple hours after arriving and 2 minutes out of the property door we were assaulted and robbed. Our kids were in panic and everyone in shock. The hotel has no security, we were just told sorry this is unfortunately Barcelona.

Pros: Great location by the beach. Bed was comfortable. Cons: Little to no hot water in the shower. No face cloths were provided. Door lock was hard to open and lock.

Great location, friendly staff
The staff was great. I had lost my phone in the cab upon arrival and they helped navigate through that issue. They set up a few rides for us. The location ( 3-4 minute walk to the Beach and 5-15 minutes walks to multiple restaurants and grocery stores) was perfect. The only issue we had was with the washing machine. It took forever to go through a full cycle and it did not dry well at all.
