Exactly what I expected from online!
The hotel was brightly lit and exactly what you see online. Our bed was comfy and the room modern. It has a wonderful cafe just steps away for breakfast/coffee. It's also across the street from a fantastic churro place I saw on IG. It's nicely located a brief stroll from Passeig de Gracia. It was quiet and had a nice bar we enjoyed at the end of our night.

I'm reviewing this property from two perspectives, first in general this was a wonderful place to stay, very nice, clean, kinda got a boutique vibe. The breakfast spread was great. Staff was super nice, helpful, and sent up complimentary champagne and wine both times. We stayed here two days before a 7-day cruise and one day after and both experiences were exceptional. As I've heard & read sometime America can be met with a bit of rudeness when in Spain. Which wasn’t the case at all in this hotel or in Barcelona as a whole. I even had a baggage issue with the airport and since I have no Spanish speaking skill, I went to the front desk for translation help, and they gladly assisted me. Secondly, I need to point out my self and wife are both African American and heard/read even more discouraging things about how we are sometimes treated in Spain, again we had a wonderful time in the hotel and in Barcelona sightseeing. Understandably three days is a short time to make a real judgement call, but we really enjoyed every minute and hope to return.
