This lush, green and serene property tucked away from the hustle-bustle of Mumbai is well designed & properly maintained. The pool view rooms are spacious with ample terrace space, which is very nice. The pool is large, though on the shallow side. The River Pej flows gently by, creating a serene ambience. As far as the human aspect is concerned, Mr. Ganesh, Mr. Vaibhav and Mr. Mangal are extremely helpful, knowledgeable, warm and welcoming. The restaurant staff are also efficient and helpful. There is ample scope for activities, from cycling and horse riding to zip lining and kayaking. The owner has a wonderful green thumb and creates awesome bonsai. The only, and minor, downside is that the food is average. Overall, it's a wonderful place for a short, enjoyable holiday. P. S. While you're there don't forget to drive over to Matheran and tour the place on horseback for some lovely scenery. P. S.2 There are other places for hikes, such as Kondhane Caves as well as hilltop forts within easy access. Enjoy!
