Only thing we were disappointed in was the Hot Tub was too hot to enjoy. Usually the temp is 103-104, yours was 105.

The motel is very nice and spacious. It is uniquely decorated with antiques and has an "old" feel in a good way. Breakfast was very good, and the woman maintaining it was doing an awesome job at keeping up with a large crowd. The only negative I can think of is the woman that checked us in couldn't tell us where the stairs were, and the elevator is very, very slow. Other than that, we had a pleasant stay and were very comfortable.

Unique lodging
Very interesting building and the furnishings straight up reminded us of being at the Haunted Mansion at Disney. The people were all nice the the breakfast was pretty decent. The hot tub was large and hot, but not as clean as it could have been. It was closed for maintenance the next morning, so perhaps it was being cleaned. Considering it was on the less expensive side, we got what we paid for.

Love this hotel 😌
Wife and I stayed 5 days and 4 nights. We love this hotel. The beds are always so comfy and the rooms are clean. The breakfast is amazing. Highly recommend! The only thing I’d recommend is maybe bring your own blanket. They had the ones with the weird texture and we were not a fan.

I didn’t have my hopes unfairly high but this hotel was an overall disappointment. Pros: -Free breakfast -The bed/pillows were pretty comfortable -Tv, fridge, water pressure -Close to food/shopping options Cons: -Hotel was overbooked: when we got to our room, another couple was trying to get in: we were both assigned same room -Room phone = broken -When calling front desk from my cell, long hold times where no one answers or you’re just immediately hung up on -Very thin, scratchy, old towels -Disgusting carpet: I never felt comfortable being barefoot -Parking lot is large but lacks lighting in the back: my car has two huge dings from other cars & I would not have felt safe going to my car at night alone -Very rude front desk employee -Back parking/back entrance is entered from level two, front parking lot/main entrance is entered from level one, confusing with no heads up/when riding the elevator -Broken elevators, very long wait times at the only working VERY small elevator -Trash bags laying around in random spots: tripping hazard -No staff monitoring the pool/hot tub: kids were making a huge mess after pool closing hours -Thin walls, VERY loud from the room -Broken toilet seat -Filthy shower head -Breakfast food was bad: greasy food & packaged low budget items -No vent fan switch in the bathroom so I’m positive it’s full of mold -Privacy sign on door, staff still entered and moved things but didn’t bring new towels or make beds -Cops there for guest drama repeatedly

I have never stayed at someplace this bad. Walls were PAPER THIN -- a dog several doors down barked nonstop from 10 pm - 1 am . . . front desk couldn't locate the owner and therefore couldn't do anything. The walls were so thin we could hear all conversations in the room next door (they spoke at a normal level). The breakfast was gross (and they were out of lots of items). The fridge had yogurt, but it was set at 47 deg (which isn't food safe to store dairy). Both toasters didn't work. Limited amount of seating. Also, the elevators were almost all not working so it often took 10 minutes to get a ride. I cannot recommend this hotel for anyone. It was disappointing on every level.

The hotel has a very cool castle look on the exterior- loved the lions out front and the hotel looked great from the street. The interior is older and a bit dated, but everything was in working order and appeared clean. There was a beautiful fire place in the lobby area with comfy couches and space to sit and chat. The room was pretty no frills, but it was spacious, clean, had a fridge and microwave and the bed was comfortable. All staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful. We just stayed for one night and had an overall good experience.

Honestly it wasn’t that bad. I’m just upset about some of the visitors. We went Halloween weekend for a wrestling tournament. Somebody brought their dog and left it in the hotel while they went out to party (I’m assuming). The dog was howling and yelping from 9pm -at least 1am. We weren’t there long enough to appreciate the rest the hotel had to offer. I will say the staff was extremely nice on check in. Just that dog ruined our night.
