Great place to stay
Loved how the decor was on theme with the hotel name. I appreciated the option to book a room with a single queen bed instead of the typical king. The employee who checked us in was very nice and patient. It was hard to tell the age of the property because it was so well kept. Everything was very clean and all amenities were as stated in the description. The breakfast was good and an employer was constantly cleaning and restocking.

Good, but pricey
We stayed two nights on family business, We selected the hotel because the reviews were excellent, but we found the experience was fairly ordinary. The morning staff was friendly, the night clerk was surly. The room was clean and moderately quiet, but the bathroom was tiny, The continental breakfast was OK, but the eating area was cramped. I guess we expected more for our nearly $300 per night charge.

A pleasant, well-maintained property. Close to I-90 and the road to Yellowstone. Plenty of dining options nearby and a large grocery store with a deli just across the street. Breakfast was fine.

Decent Hotel
Pretty decent hotel. The staff were nice enough and the room was decent. Shower pressure was great. The location was decent. All in all, it served the purpose for stopping for a good night's sleep. I don't have many complaints about it other than the sorts of things that are problems at most hotels: noisy guests made it hard to sleep.

This was a average hotel, nothing outstanding, was very surprised that this had a 9 rating as it was very noisy above us, we could also hear through the pipes when anyone was having a shower. worn rooms, breakfast was okay, nothing spectacular. Staff was polite and room was clean.

A gem of a hotel.
I was pleasantly surprised walking into Yellowstone River Inn & Suites. The front desk person smiled, was very warm, welcoming in her greeting. The room was spotless. I love the indoor hallways, as I felt very safe inside the hotel. Even though this is rated as a 2 star hotel, they are definitely 3-4 star in my book. My only concern is the continental breakfast, I wish there were more options for gluten free, dairy free, egg free, tea options. It was centrally located with a grocery store and Starbucks right next door, and only an hour or so to Yellowstone National Park. I would definitely stay here again the next time I am in the area. They even had an adorable little throw pillow with an embroidered state of Montana on the bed. Nice touch!
