Elm Lodge is perfectly located only 150 metres from the town centre of beautiful Bright in Victorias High Country. Elm Lodge has six self contained units, perfect for couples or families, with your choice of studio, one, or two bedroom units. For families we have our two bedroom rooms which can sleep up to 6 guests, and rooms 3 and 4 which can be interconnecting, together sleeping up to 6 guests. For larger groups the whole property can accommodate up to 25 guests.
The large barbeque area, with large gas barbeque, tables and chairs, at the back of the units surrounded by beautiful gardens is the perfect way to relax and enjoy the tranquil beauty of Bright at the end of a days adventuring. Bike washing facilities and storage are available for mountain bike enthusiasts. Free off street parking in from of each unit and free guest laundry available including washer and dryer.

The location is fabulous with less than 5 min walk to the main street. Set in a green and lush street. The property is basic, but clean and all you need for some rest. We were cold at night and could have done with one more blanket. Only one towel for two people was the only real negative.

Check in process was fine and location is good. The property is not very clean, having dirty dishes, needing a vaccume, and bathroom clean. The bathroom door gets jammed and needs a lot of force to open it. Powerboards in the bedroom are very old and need replacing.

A winter holiday.
A great location just walking distance to the town centre which is the gateway to the snow fields. The unit was unsophisticated but very comfortable and although the kitchen was tiny it was functional (but who needs to cook on holidays!)

Avoid at all costs! Sleep in your car!
Unit presented stank of dirt, dust, old & mildew. Complained & was relocated to another unit. This unit had 2 chairs & table at front entry covered in old cobwebs, on opening the front door your hit with the smell of old dusty mildew as though the place has been locked up for years and this smell doesn't leave. Rubbish on the floor & rubbish left in the kitchen bin. Used soap and wrapper on vanity unit, towel that very obviously had been used, human waste on top of the toilet bowl under the seat, empty tissue box, bathroom door handle lock falling off, an unkempt bed that looked very much as though it had been used! Thick layer of dust on all blinds. A ripped curtain in main bedroom that had been screwed up & put in the open window then window shut on top. The doona on the main bed stinks like the unit. Great for sleeping. We have travelled all over the world in a multitude of different establishments in all weather conditions but Elm Lodge is an embarrassment. Feel VERY ripped off. If this is STAYZ quality then book elsewhere!

Great location and surrounds, but unit is basic and needs some love and updating - missing curtains, minimally appointed kitchen ( a knife to cut cheese, bread perhaps?), and a very hard bed
