The cleaning staff were really helpful and friendly. One of the staff helped my husband upstairs with his suitcase as he had a bad back. Check in was a bit of a kuffafle as we arrived during Sunday Roast lunch service and the Reception was located near the end of the tables. You cannot see it from the entrance. Food not so good. The steaks we ordered were really chewy gristly even though we ordered two types of steak and medium rare. The shopping centre is very close as were other restaurants.

Basic sleeping accommodation with almost zero space to hang/store clothes, generally designed a s a one night or very short stay room. Strange fan or extractor noise was somewhat disturbing to sleep, sometimes our room on the 2nd story shook in the night as the 'fan' or whatever was working, very odd. Dining and 'Pub' area was clean, well staffed and with a reasonably varied dinner/lunch menu. Breakfast menu was also varied with options to suit most people and price was competitive. Our cost to stay was just the room, and did not include breakfast so be aware of this but the price of breakfast and the serving hours (2024) were both reasonable and as mentioned competitive. Overall a good experience.

Very disappointing.
Very basic twin room, bed too narrow and nowhere to put anything, just small hanging space with a shelf under! Nowhere to put anything in bathroom either. Window didn't fit properly and after complaining some workmen came whilst we were still in bed and after asking them to come back later were told we couldn't get it repaired unless they could do it immediately, so couldn't get it done as I'm an invalid and can't do anything quickly! Also the air conditioning didn't work correctly it would be cold about 4.00pm then absolutely roasting during the night, my pillow was soaked every night! The only good thing was the TV system.

The staff were excellent. The room needed some work doing as in painting. Would of been nice to have main reception in the hotel not the restaurant. Great food served by superb staff.
