Let me start off by saying the front desk staff were very kind and were the only delight of our stay. Jesus was very down to earth and took very good care of us with any questions I had.
The room was average and had fresh towels, cups, soaps and toilet paper. The beds (2 Q) were made up nicely when we arrived. The sheets looked clean and unstained as well as the pillows. No signs of bed bugs. (We check every time we stay at a hotel)
It looked like the furniture and flooring was fairly new, but the building was in disarray. There were giant stains from water damage on the wall and ceiling close to the AC, rust at the base of the door frames as if there was flooding in the room at one point, and the floors were unbelievably dirty. The bottoms of my bare feet turned black from walking to and from the restroom and had to be re-washed. The side doors to get into the building with the key card were all broken and anyone could walk in which made me uncomfortable. The area we were staying in was the first floor close to the entrances and there was a lot of people at all hours walking through the hallway (talking/arguing). The laundry room was also across from us and we believe the door to that room slams loudly which kept waking us up. Too much traffic in this area and no noise control.
We checked out the following morning and there was no issues as you just turn in the key and request a receipt.
I believe this would be a decent stay if not staying on the first floor.
