For the amount of use this hotel sees, I was expecting things to be worn but the rooms are clean and comfortable, and Ruby's gave us a good night's rest before exploring Bryce Canyon. The location is super convenient, and it had great amenities for the kiddo in our group. The breakfast buffet options were plentiful.

This is a very themed lodge. Part of it is connected to the main building but many buildings are separate. Quite large , expansive business. The facility feels dated (1980’s). The western historic part is cool but it’s not what we were expecting. The rooms themselves feel more motel or lodge/ cabin like. We were hoping for a full service hotel. The rate felt high in advance where as the night of they still had availability and was a much lower rate. It has air conditioning but more small units. The doors are on the outside of the building. It is very close to Bryce Canyon entrance and does have dining , groceries and extras right on site.

Huge hotel grounds close to Bryce Canyon
The hotel is huge with a ton of different buildings, so we had a very long walk from our room to the restaurant/pool/etc. It does sit right on a lake which was beautiful as the sun was setting. Our room was clean and spacious, and housekeeping came every day. We had the do not disturb sign up one day, so housekeeping just left us a bag filled with extra towels, toilet paper, coffee and other things we may have needed. My only real complaint is that they would absolutely not let us (or many others) check in before the stated 4:00 check in time. I fully understand that they had to get rooms cleaned and prepped. So, do not plan to arrive before the stated 4:00 check in time. The hotel is very close to the entrance to Bryce Canyon and a shuttle stop. Ruby's Inn itself is almost like a small town just outside Bryce Canyon so there are a lot of small gift shops in the hotel and just across the street. There are a few small restaurants, though one was having cowboy concerts every night so the it was a fixed price menu for dinner and the show. The restaurant attached to the hotel had a great breakfast buffet (included with the room) and the dinner buffet was ok as well.

The location is wonderful, easy walk to all the fun stuff right outside of Bryce and a shuttle into the park as well. Parking at the hotel was easy, and breakfast was included and a nice assortment. The room was good, a bit too dark, but clean. The pool scene was a disappointment, chaos everytime we went, teens and kids being rough including jumping on people in the water. Adding security to patrol the pool area would be nice.

Convinience and breakfast option is the what i loved about this place. Property is old. Staff ( front desk does not seem to care) will not accommodate early check in no matter how much you ask or plead. Rooms were not super clean. The enterance to the room is right outside the parking lot which creates a lot of noise. We stayed on 1st floor. We could hear every single time someone walked or moved luggage upstairs.

Very close to national park. Property has every amenity you could imagine. Even their own post office! Very cool, vintage decor. Rooms need a little sprucing up but other than that it’s great

Ground floor NOISE
Good hotel in good enviroments. BUT the ground floor accomodation is so affected by first floor movement, that I would classify the rooms as unfit for accomodation. If there were even the smallest person living on the first floor It would generate un-sleepable noise. This oppinion was shared by 2 other rooms of the ground floor of their "Deer Lodge" housing.

Location is perfect for visiting Bryce Canyon, it is a very large hotel and condition of room and facilities are mediocre and breakfast is not great ; very crowded and limited choice compared to other stays we had. But you pay for the location
