The staff was friendly but the hotel is terrible. Our first room was not cleaned at all and it had a bunch of damages everywhere the phones are broken there’s mold everywhere I know it’s considered a cheap hotel but damn can the owners take care of it or sell it to someone who will. It reminds me of the hacienda in San Diego the structure is nice but they let it go the and it’s disturbing they can let people stay there with it be so messed up.. again staff was nice and changed our first room to a cleaner room.

Totally disappointing
Property has potential but is outdated and needs maintenance and aesthetic upgrades as soon as possible. Room was dusty- sofabed covers put on. No extra sheets/blankets provided for the sofabed sleeper. Not enough towels provided for number of ppl checked in. Mattress on sofabed was a joke. 2nd elevator not working. Floors in room not clean. No coffee stirrers provided even if coffee machine was there. Sink in common area— slow drain. Lobby was dirty. The entire place was honestly subpar. We stayed at this same spot in 2019 And was told that they were doing upgrades. When we came Back this time- it was actually worse Than last time. Very disappointing.

Elevator is a death trap. It’s freezing cold and you can’t get extra blankets. Heater didn’t work. My child fell cause there is a gap in the floor of the room. It wasn’t cleaned properly and you can’t get a hold of the front desk clerk cause they’re hiding in the office

Arrived 1 hr before check-in time and was charged a early check-in fee of 35 dollars. Once we got to our room it hit us with a terrible smell of humidity and enclosure as well as chocolate wrappers and food crumbs on the floor. The kid at the front desk sent someone to assist with the inconveniences only to have someone come by to spray deodorant and drop off a broom for us to sweep ourselves because they were not going to do it. After bringing the unsatisfied way this inconveniences were handled for a second time to the antendant in front desk he assured someone will stop by to sweep and mop the room.

NEED REFUND
SO UPSET. Stayed 2 nights. First night- we noticed at check in a couple drops on the floor, didn’t know if it was old food or what.. Later on, my teenager opens up the pull out bed and A LARGE AMOUNT OF RAT POOP FELL OUT! We have pictures. We asked if we could either change rooms or get the room cleaned asap. Got nothing. Next day week asked housekeeping and front desk to please clean room and when we got back at 4PM the rat poop was STILL there. They did nothing to fix the situation, still charged us full price and never reached out to apologize even though they took my number down and promised someone would call. Plus, look at my daughter’s feet after only being barefoot for an hour..

Our room smelled musty and they came and sprayed something on the curtains to cover it up. Definitely can use a remodel. Room was big. NO drinking WATER not even for sale which i thought was odd so bring your snacks and water. Location was great and free parking was a plus!

We got a room with two beds and a pullout couch, and the pullout couch didn’t have sheets already on it, we asked the front desk and was told we had to come down and get it, which was fine, but they gave us the bare minimum and said there were no pillows. My niece and nephew were sleeping on the pullout couch and they were cold, and there were no extra blankets. We also asked for extra towels for the bathroom (only two were provided), but were told there were none available until tomorrow. The following day when we were ready to take shower, with only two towels for a room of six occupancy. Went down to the front desk and asked if we could have more towels and was told that House Keeping would bring some. They didn’t bring any towels for about 30 minutes, I finally went down to the front desk and said there’s four kids cold and naked and house keeping hasn’t brought the towels, thankfully the nice girl at the front desk got us some.

This hotel 🏨 was the worse place I have ever stayed at. Were do I begin, front desk staff all rude and nasty and don’t know crap! Second, hotel manager was never to be found on premises, I was searching for him our entire time we were there. We were there from Tuesday through Friday I left several messages for him and he had the audacity to call me yesterday afternoon after we had already checked out. I should contact the better business bureau on this crappy hotel. Now back to my review, why was there never any towels ever to shower with from big to small to face towels. It was three people in my room and the room only had 2 towels for three people to share? What the heck! Everytime I went downstairs to request towels there was none, and no housekeeping staff was working. But tell me why the day after Xmas I took my family to Disneyland and we came back to our room that night to find that someone from the hotel had come into our room while we were gone and took all of our towels and didn’t replace them or take our trash out just came in my room and took our towels.. so me and children didn’t shower for a ln entire day! Totally unacceptable and very cringy! Worse hotel ever. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone at all! Stay away from the dirty old Buena Park Garden Suites hotel. The manager was rude and racist towards my friend from Israel , he yelled at her and that’s not professional. Who in the owner of this crappy place, I’m sure I was not the only person pissed !
