I had the pleasure of staying at Oaks Port Stephens Pacific Blue Resort in Salamander Bay, and it was an unforgettable experience. The moment I stepped into my apartment, I was blown away by the stunning view—a perfect blend of lush greenery and the serene blue waters of the resort’s signature lagoon-style swimming pool, which was literally just behind my balcony. Waking up to the peaceful sight of the shimmering pool and having direct swim-out access from my balcony was an absolute dream. It felt like my own private oasis! The water was always crystal clear and perfectly maintained, making it ideal for a refreshing morning dip or a relaxing evening swim under the soft glow of the resort lights. The entire resort has a tranquil yet luxurious ambiance, with spacious, well-appointed rooms and modern amenities. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring everything was perfect throughout my stay.

I did not realise the shower was over a bath. I would check this in future, as I was unable to get in. Otherwise very comfortable.

The Nelson is a great place to stay. Right in the middle of the main strip close to beaches ports and all the amenities and restaurants. The hotel it self is extremely well appointed and the staff are credit to the management. I highly recommend this hotel for any one staying in Nelson bay
