It was just old. The staff was great very kind and accommodating. Our shower was just very dated tile and a little icky. It also didn’t drain well. The pool was fine but same with the shower in there. For the price i was a little put off.

Walls must be very thin. You could hear everything everywhere. The bathroom is very small hard to shut door and use toilet at same Time. The breakfast was not hot and had no coffee the morning we visited. Staff is so so. Would not stay there again. But it’s nice that they let the local kids use the pool for beginner swimming lessons.

Wingates have always been an affordable, clean and all systems worked well. serviceable option for me. The staff and location of this hotel made it even better. It was easily found and near dining options. Room had all that I needed. Bed was comfortable and all systems worked well. A very satisfactory roadside stopping place.
