This is a lovely resort with fantastic amenities, activities and dining options. The staff were friendly and helpful, with attending to all of our needs in a timely manner (thank you Katia and Paco!). We've enjoyed the great selection of restaurants and the day and night entertainment and activities. We had a beautiful ocean view room with a plunge pool, which I can't recommend enough. The spa is gorgeous and was a great addition to an already relaxing experience. The beach is wonderful with the most amazing service (thank you Jose!) in a safe an quiet area. Overall, this was a fabulous vacation and we would definitely return. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

The general staff (waitstaff, butlers, etc.) are very kind, however, the managers/heads of depts are there to only say no and not find solutions. They will lie to you and tell you that the way they act is similar to "all resorts globally" which is untrue. I wouldn't recommend this resort to my worst enemy.

The property is beautiful. Restaurants are very good. The beach is excellent. But what we liked the most was the customer sevice of the staff. From the buttler Rubi to the cleaning staff, servers and all staff go beyond their responsabilities to measure you are enjoying your stay. Highly recommended!

Amazing Anniversary and Christmas Stay! We stayed at this beautiful hotel in Cancun for 5 nights to celebrate our anniversary and Christmas, and it was an unforgettable experience! The staff went above and beyond to make our trip special. Our room was beautifully decorated for our anniversary, which made us feel incredibly welcome and cared for. A special thanks to Paco and Kathia, our incredible butlers, who made everything seamless and ensured we had the best experience. They truly made our stay extra special with their attentiveness and care. We loved dining at Kabuki Restaurant, where the flavors and presentation were outstanding. Loco Mexican Restaurant was another highlight, offering authentic dishes that we couldn’t get enough of. The private plunge pool in our room was the perfect touch—it added so much relaxation and luxury to our trip. We can’t thank the staff enough for making our Christmas and anniversary celebration so memorable. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

I loved this place! My wife and I stayed for 4 days of our 9 day vacation and we regret not being at the Majestic the entire time. They upgraded us to "the club" ( adults only) when we got that and it was amazing! Beach was awesome, buffets and dining options were amazing. The adults only pool was a blast! The shows were really fun as well. I'm sure we didn't use the butler to the full extent. Definitely would stay here again!

The resort is nice, however, they don’t offer 2 double beds, they state they do, which is a lie, but don’t, instead it is 2 single beds. If you need 2 big beds, stay somewhere else.

STAY HERE YOU’LL LOVE IT
2nd time staying here and cannot say enough how lovely the property is! The staff are friendly and super attentive, the amenities are gorgeous, and the beach & ocean are just about flawless! Organizing excursions off property is incredibly easy, and affordable- the staff do amazing with assisting all of that. The property restaurants, buffet, and room service are delicious! I’d say that some of the guests are probably the worst part - disrespect and entitlement are such ugly characteristics. But even that couldn’t dampen such a fantastic vacation!

DO NOT STAY HERE – SAFETY AND SERVICE ARE A JOKE! Our Christmas Week 2024 stay at Majestic Elegance was a nightmare. A credit card was stolen from the luggage in our room by housekeeping or guest services staff and used on unauthorized charges. Despite immediately reporting it, the hotel’s “investigation” was a joke—no accountability, and they even implied we lost the card ourselves, though we never left the resort. With interview of staff who accessed our room, let’s be honest—no one is going to admit to stealing, especially when their job is on the line. It could easily be hid in their shoes, plastic lanyard or undergarments. Management was defensive, dismissive, and failed to resolve the issue. We were promised updates but received none, leaving us feeling unsafe and unsupported. The resort’s policies protect them, not guests. They claim thefts don’t happen, but reviews suggest otherwise—even safes aren’t secure. Beyond this, the resort was far from luxurious: rundown facilities, erosion in showers and tubs, poorly maintained grounds, and ongoing construction. Food quality was mediocre, with limited options outside of dinner. Drinks were decent, but service was inconsistent. Our experience at TRS last year was exceptional, making this all the more disappointing. Majestic Elegance’s poor management, dishonest staff, and subpar amenities ruined our vacation. We will NEVER return and urge you to avoid this resort if you value your safety and belongings.
