Was really excited as I do not stay at all inclusives very often and the and pictures looked really neat. But they clearly hired a very good photographer as the place was a bit disappointing. Facilities were outdated and we were unable to get tables at both of the “better” looking restaurants on our only night there. We were unaware that reservations needed to be made ahead of time and this was not conveyed to us. Overall not really worth what we paid for, which wasn’t cheap.

We stayed with the family of 2 teenage daughters. The staff are extremely friendly and the dining options were amazing. Its walkable to shopping places and has In House entertainment. The beaches are well maintained with a lot of beach activities, volleyball, snorkeling, paragliding. We booked our travel thru the hotel for airport transfer and would highly recommend.

Hi, we had a very unpleasant stay at Alltra Cancun. On the first day there was a water leakage from the the sink in hall. My wife almost slipped in the night while using restroom. I reached out to the manager and they fixed the leakage next day. I requests for a refund that night , the manager said he did submit a request for refund and Expedia will reach out to me on the refund for that day. The food was not good. Looks like leftover food and very long waiting times

If service is your thing then this is the resort for you. It may have been the best service we've had while in Mexico. Every single staff member was attentive, friendly and helpful. We felt genuenly welcomed at this resort. Rooms were clean, a wide selection of food, great bar staff. Beautiful beach. All said I would give a 4.5 out of 5.

We loved Wyndham Ultra, the hotel was beautiful with amazing staff. Our waiter "Salomon" at Sunset grill gave us the best dining experience of our lives! We also loved Casa de Rosa. The beach restrooms can be a little cleaner. We were also not very impressed with the Ventanas buffet.

Great stay in Cancun overall!!
This was a great stay. This was the best food I had at an all-inclusive resort. Lots of times at all-inclusive, the food is bland and sub-par but all the restaurants were delicious. Even the buffet was impressive. The volleyball and water aerobics during the day were fun. The drinks in the bars were overly sweet and would like to see them use real fruits rather than sugar juices. A negative was the lack of entertainment. In the evening they had 1 show from 8-9 and we always missed it due to still dinning for dinner. I wish that was later or they had more shows. In the bar area, they had a singer nightly however they weren't very good. I suggest having Karaoke or an actual band. I also wish they had a hot tub in the main pool area. They had a hidden hot tub but you had to reserve it ahead of time which is weird.

The staff is the best resource that this Hotel have, everyone is kind and friendly. Drinks are good and excellent variety, food is good but simple. The hotel should have more amenities.

We Loveeeeeee this resort. This is why we keep coming. Service is Amazing Daniel, Karina, Fernandito,Maclovio, Ramiro, Ricardo and Luis at the main bar in the lobby are Amazing! And our favorite server Giovanni at Azul oh and can't forget Pascual at the Italian Restaurant. All of this great workers always make us feel so welcome and that's why we choose only this resort when we travel to Cancun :)

Great but needs maintenance
Our holiday was amazing. The staff always went above and beyond, were super friendly and helpful. I can't say enough good things about them. Really. The food was great and the restaurants always did their best to help us with a picky 3-year old. As good as all the restaurants were, the Mexican one was the best followed by the Italian. The Asian one could be better, it wasn't bad by any means, just not as good as the others. My only complaint about our stay was the condition of the facility. It is clear to me that there are many years of deferred maintenance that needs to be done. Like many hotels, they have spent their money on the lobby (which is very nice) and not the rooms or the other facilities. In defense it does appear that at least they are painting it. But the following things weren't great: 1. Children's area the water slide has been out of use probably for years. It was closed 3 years ago when we were last there and it still was. 2. Pools need to be re-grouted as there are spots that are discolored or it is missing 3. Room balcony plant boxes are full of dead plants and it appears they have been for a long time - just remove them if it is too much work to maintain them (and I imagine it is) 4. Room balcony has pealing plastic film on the glass wall. It really ruins the view when sitting down 5. General maintenance of the room, while it was done it simply wasn't done that well. For the price we paid, the facility should be as good as the staff and food.
