Hotel staff didn’t great us on entry, just stood there doing some work, the room was okay, not high quality, but clean, but we had a room next a street that had a pub with outside drinkers which were very noisy until early hours and a generator that came on and off! Not what we expected.

An enjoyable Canterbury tale
Excellent and helpful service, spacious room and bathroom and good food very nicely served. We had drummer once and breakfast twice, each time a very good experience.

property was not warm and cosy as advertised, very few staff members around, you need to chase to get any service, restaurant food very ordinary and overly expensive for what is was. Canterbury city centre not what it was just a few years back.

Good size room and clean. Nice complementary bathroom products. Only thing I would say that lets the room/bathroom down is the poor lighting for applying makeup. Friendly helpful staff and breakfasts was very nice. Great location for theatre and some lovely restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

The property was lovely as is csnterbury it self, clise yo everything, comfortable bed...i would say the only thing thst let ut down was the parking...car park was full when we arrived, so parked in council carpark and it cost £30 for under 24 hrs

All the staff were friendly, the bedroom was pretty spacious and clean. Only area that let the hotel down a little was the bathroom. It was clean but the plumbing for the hand basin was noisy and the shower, over the bath, was clearly quite old and not very efficient, taking a long time to warm up and then only to a fairly tepid temperature. We never ate there so can't comment on the quality of the food but there was a nice bar. It is right on the middle of the High Street but we didn't notice any noise and all the main shops, restaurants, bars and sites are probably within a 10 minute walk

Everything lovely apart from the noise of the warm air heating in the room. Property would benefit from having radiators. Could have done with leaflets in the room about the history of the hotel.
