Anniversary getaway

Everything was great with my stay, except that I was given a room next to multiple rooms of teen girls and their families here for an event. Surprisingly, the evening was quiet, but they were traveling room to room from 5:45-7:45 a.m. To make matters worse, the doors slam shut every time they close. It made for a not so restful sleep which was what I really needed.

Good location bit Past it's prime
The hot water was scalding. Since the vav sink had two faucets it took a while adjusting the flow from both sides to get the right temperature without burning. There was a drip coming from outside my room which was so loud it woke me up in the middle of the night and I couldn't go back to sleep. Walls are also thin and transmit conversations. Breakfast was like you might expect for a Red Roof. Overall this place is past it's prime.

I was staying without transportation and occasionally had time on my hands. I felt safe walking at night snd during the day, and great dhopping within walking distance. This was my third time staying here with a fourth stay already booked. No need to look or stay elsewhere. The bed was comfortable, room is always spotless, the staff is amazing and so friendly, and they offer a decent breakfast.
