Room its self was nice however noise levels were not great and we’d been given a connecting door (door to next room from our room which was of course locked) However it didn’t keep the noise out. So felt like we were in the same room as the couple next door when they were having a conversation and got woken up at 1am

Not what I expected from a 4 star hotel!

Check in was good and parking was easy with access straight in to hotel. Car park for hotel is private so feels quite secure. The room was unfortunately very disappointing. It really needs an update as very old fashioned. They have tried to keep up with modernisation by installing a large lcd tv which unfortunately was only partially visible from the bed. The biggest disappointments were the cleanliness and the lack of soundproofing. We had some items to put in the fridge and were surprised to open the door to find the rear of fridge with numerous black mould spots. This was also the case on the tiles in the shower (actually a bath you stand in with a shower in it). The basin surround had black mould below the rim behind the tap and one of the hand towels supplied was stained and torn. We had three nights in this hotel and slept badly for two as you could literally hear everything from the surrounding rooms. And I mean everything! I stay in approximately 100 hotels per year, including other Crowne Plazas and this hotel was not what I expected from the brand. Most certainly not 4 star where the room is concerned compared to other hotels. On a positive note to finish all of the staff that we came in to contact with were excellent, very polite and friendly.

Need phone charger sockets on BOTH sides of bed.

We really enjoyed our stay, however the view wasn't very appealing, and the phone charger socket was only on one side of the bed which is a pain when there are two of you in the room wanting to both charge your phones overnight.

Lovely stay

Lovely hotel, perfect location if wanting to explore the city/go out at night. Less than 5minute walk to the main shops/bars. Pool was fine, rooms clean but basic, hotel itself inside was nice and clean. Breakfast was great, huge selection available. Would stay again!

Nice stay, good pool. Few tired bits, but nothing that ruined the stay. Good quality breakfasts and good food market across the road.
