I stayed here for acess to the racecourse that is only a few hunderd walk from. The staff checking in were fantastic and had a very friendly personality. The lobby and bar area were all I saw during my stay and was exceptionally clean and nicely decorated. They were also nice and warm that I really found comfortable. The room was great, comfortable bed, spacious and had everything I needed. I would have no problems at all staying here again.

Excellent hotel in the heart of the city centre. Only a short walk to many of the major attractions. The rooms in the hotel are large and very comfortable. There was a huge choice at breakfast and the possibility to order additional items like kippers! Only downside at the hotel is the cost of parking at £17 a night!

A wee 3 day trip to Chester for Christmas Market/shopping.Lovely hotel,food very good.Above all,staff were excellent….friendly and efficient.Only issue was Executive Lounge which was very small and freezing.Staff member could not get heating increased.So bad we couldn’t use it.Having used Exec lounges in quite a few Crowne Plaza hotels,would have to say this was the worst.Bar lounge much better and staff very helpful.

Lovely stay, hotel is beautiful. Unfortunately Check in took ages and long queues. Our room window was fastened shut and this was a problem as I like to be able to open a little for fresh air especially during the night. Felt quite claustrophobic and resorted to opening the door in the middle of the night to try and get some air to no avail.

Ideally located hotel
Two night stay. Ideally located as it’s 5 minute walk to the main streets. Staff were very helpful and polite. Bar and lounge are very spacious and relaxing
