Best Western Naperville Inn is a clean, quiet place to stay with attentive responsive mostly Spanish speaking staff. Everyone treated us kindly and with respect. However, the refrigerator was not plugged in when we checked in. We moved it out from under the cabinet to plug it in and then the only setting from one through seven was freezing all of our juice, milk, fruit. I went to show the receptionist how the refrigerator was freezing the food by showing her shaking the milk carton. She thought I wanted a new milk carton so they went out and bought me a half gallon of milk, thoughtfult butwasn’t what I was trying to tell them. I think they sent someone in to readjust the refrigerator. They turned it up to seven which defrosted and warmed everything, so there was no medium between almost room temperature and freezing The refrigerator also had a broken foot. They checked on the problem, but did not really fix it. 338 needs a new refrigerator. Water heater broke but was fixed same day elevator went out on day we were leaving so we walked down to breakfast, which wasn’t a problem, but I was in a handicap room and it could’ve been a problem for someone who needed a wheelchair. I did not have a problem and could walk down the stairs. They did fix it, however before we had to get our luggage downstairs from the third floor. Very nice friendly staff. Kitchen employee very responsive, refilling the items continuously. We felt very welcome despite the language barrier.
