Wedding venue or hotel!
The hotel was on a good deal. As a gold member on a quiet, booking wise day, i would have expected a free upgrade. Instead, with a hotel of free rooms we were given the smalest room possible, an ensuite not touched since the 1990's with a shower so small, i went back home instead! The doubleglazing had so much internal condendation you couldn't see out. It is easy to get return customers, just some thoughtfulness, and its easy to not only lose them, but also to have the message spread that hospitality is just not your thing, uour just a wedding venue!

The garden area was nice but the pond was dirty. The vibe and property was beautiful and the dinner was great. I would’ve preferred more breakfast options though.

Room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the patio opening onto the gardens was lovely. Food was nicely prepared and the staff polite and helpful. The M4 was noisy at times disturbing the tranquility but was able to sleep well.

Beautiful but a bit dated
Beautiful Manor House in lovely setting but unfortunately a bit dated. Needed a bit of an uplift, new more comfortable beds, bathroom needed update as tiles were all broken and shower mouldy. They could do with new garden furniture on such a beautiful terrace.

We had a large clean room looking over the lovely gardens. There is a hard working friendly staff. Dinner was delicious. There was an issue being charged twice for the room and breakfast. They apologetic and promised to resolve.

A hidden gem..5 minutes off the Motorway in a very quiet location..safe and secure parking which is very important for me..very helpful and friendly staff. Lovely big room.I ate in the Restaurant and the food was delicious. Unfortunately I left to early to have breakfast. I will definitely be back.
