The receptionist looks as if she didn’t want to be there. Not good at explaining things. She speaks like a robot. Not cheerful enough ro be working at the front deck. Parking is not ideal. We paid for onsite but couldn’t park at our own spot. When booking for parking there was no confirmation email send through. We have to ring up and check. The restaurant the guy who work in there was so loud and not professional. Keep talking to the customer he likes and ignore the rest of the guests. No greeting from restaurant people as he was busy chatting. The shower is not clean. Yellow stain of soap scum can be seen on the tile and shower glass

The hotel was lovely couple of hipcups with cleaning our room came back too dirtycoffee mugs .Empty shampoo bottle asked for it to be fill never was lucky i had my ownLadies on the deck where lovely friendly heplful.

This spotless and modern hotel was a 10-minute stroll to downtown and close to several cafes and restaurants (including one in the lobby). The room was spacious and, again, spotless, and the bed was super comfortable. Everything looked brand new. If you tell them ahead of time you need parking, you might score a parking spot right downstairs. Either way, the second parking lot is literally across the street. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

It was clean & comfy but kind of noisy (heard people walking in halls & upper floors). Parking lot only has about 12 spots so have to find off site parking. We arrived late (just after 10pm) & asked if there was anywhere to grab a bite & a drink. Front counter said nowhere was open but there’s a casino around corner with food & drinks open until midnight.

Lovely hotel only a 14 minute walk from the Centre
We only stayed one night at the Carnmore Hotel the night before we left Christchurch on our flight home. It was a lovely spacious room with a very comfortable bed. It had a fridge with tea/coffee & milk. The bathroom was modern and spacious and the staff were very pleasant.

Property was all fine for our initial stay in Christchurch, about a 15-20 Min walk to the actual city center, but we didn’t mind, it was straight down the road. Staff were all very polite & nice.

Great stay for our first night in NZ. Clean, modern room walking distance/close to the city center/restaurants and friendly staff. Very easy to get to from the airport in a hire car after 36 hour journey. Highly recommend!
