We have stayed here many times over the past few years. The rooms and beds are very comfortable, good price, large lot for parking, and the location in central Colorado Springs (and close to the Garden of the Gods) is great. The only thing we were very disappointed in this time, which has never happened before, is that the hot items for breakfast were not replenished for at least 1/2 hour before breakfast closed. We came 15 minutes before the stated time of breakfast closing, and the large pan of scrambled eggs and whatever other hot item they had served were completely gone. And there was only one other couple in the dining room, so a bunch of people were not finishing up their breakfast. We were given the lame excuse from the front desk that they don't restock hot items for the last 15 minutes of breakfast. But that doesn't account for the fact that it was obvious that they hadn't restocked the hot breakfast items for quite awhile before that. A yogurt and sweet roll were a very unsatisfactory, and not very healthy, breakfast.

Had painter in the room next to us gave my wife a terrible head ache no doors open no ventilation it was . Very bad fumes you can smell all the way up and down the hallway. Room was great staff was great the smell from the room directly next to me terrible paint thinner something. Made my dog sneeze for at least 20 min.
