Parking isnt the easiest but we did stay here during the Sea Shanty Festival so anticipated this. Hilly but walkable distance into the town.

Very nice stay with great views, room was very much on the small size and so was bathroom, but comfortable with excellent views, would have preferred larger room,and no safe which was surprising.

Customer service at this hotel is excellent. Lovely views.The only real drawback here is the parking...some is available on the quay behind, but if this area is used for functions it reduces car parking somewhat. There is some parking at front of hotel and also a small underground car park, but on street parking is at a premium...we hardly saw free parking spaces during the week we stayed. That said, would definitely stay here during off peak season.

Lovely stay
Hotel was lovely, and staff were very friensly and attentive. Nreakfast was delcious, and again the staff were very quick. The room was really nice and a good size, the only downfall would be that we stayed on the 1st floor, and there was another room above, and due to age of the building it was very creaky. This woke us up every morning around 6am, and kept us up some evenings too. Hotel is great location, with an amazing view.

Rooms don’t have air con and are very hot so even in 15-degree temps we had to leave the balcony door open and use the provided fan. Hotel isn’t as dog friendly as claimed - only place to eat with dogs is in the pub and you need to book in advance for a table.

The hotel is perfectly situated along the water and 20 minutes to walk to the center of the tourist hub. If you are in a room that doesn’t face the water it means you are sleeping facing the road and hearing the cars all night and early morning. The property is charming but old and showing every sign of a run down hotel that really needs a deep clean and endless repairs. The floors are all uneven, ceilings and walls full of patches, scuffs and denys, rooms and public spaces need to be thoroughly cleaned and the lifts are tiny. The bathroom was updated but there is black mold around the tub enclosure. Breakfast was included and it was a gorgeous spread. You can tell that the staff tries their best to offer good service to offset the condition of the property but it just needs an overhaul to really restore it to its glory days. Parking was convenient outside and under the hotel.

Overall, we liked everything about the greenbank. The staff was wonderful and the dining room and patios overlooking the harbor were gorgeous. Just keeping mine it's an older hotel so it comes with some of the quirks of an older building. I don't think our room had any ventilation, other than a fan. And the after noon the west facing window got hot and stuffy. You could crack the window about 4" but that was it..

Really enjoying our stay. Our room is very comfortable with amazing views across the harbour. Our meal in the restaurant was good, although my fish course was very small. Service in the restaurant was excellent.

The hotel was in an impressive location with many of its bedrooms and its public rooms benefiting from views of Falmouth harbour and the sea beyond. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food available in the dining room was impressive, and the portions generous.
