I stayed with my friend for a mini break, The breakfast options were fantastic, breakfast on the lawn was a lovely touch, and the bed was so comfortable, just was was needed after a day at the seafront and spa. Will definitely return.

The estate is beautiful but there needs to be more attention to detail when it comes to the rooms. Mine was dirty and didn’t look like it had been hoovered. When I found a rusty paper clip and some men’s boxer shorts I asked to be moved. The next room was slightly better but still not clean. Brown line round the plug holes that just wiped off-cobwebs and spiders webs in corners-my coffee mug had not been washed as it had lip marks round the rim. The balcony was neglected and dirty-not acceptable for mid season at a high cost hotel.

Rooms are clean and modern, the setting of the hotel is very pretty. Sitting out on the balcony in the evening was lovely The only downside is the restaurant service is quite slow and the food wasn’t great. There are other restaurants a short drive away.
