The hotel was nice enough. The shower water smelled very heavily of chlorine and burned my eyes. There was a wedding reception in the pool area which we didn’t not know would take place. My husband and I were looking forward to the jacuzzi which was inaccessible. Would have been nice to know that wouldn’t be an option for us. Parking being $24 a night is silly also.

The parking was a little ridiculous. Even guests had to pay $25 to park there. Otherwise, great staff, pretty clean facilities (we had ants in our room but they got us a new room really quickly) and the rooms were very nice. Will definitely stay here again.

I love the Ayres hotel and have stayed before. Rooms are well appointed, maintained, attractive, and clean. However, on this visit, I checked in about 5pm during a heat wave (100 degrees). Upon reaching my room, I found that it was blazing hot. The ac had been turned off! I had to strip down and lay still in the overwhelming heat for over an hour until the room temp came down.
