Blackout curtains did not cover the entire window
Everything is fine except for the blackout curtains that did not close all the way. I wanted to sleep in till 9am due to late check-in, but had to get up by 7 because it was bright enough for me to be awakened by it. If the sunlight bothers your sleep, then this hotel is not for you. Unless of course they gave us the crappy room. :(

Older hotel but the staff and the historic feel and courtyard and resort level pool area was very nice. 5 min walk on safe streets to Starbucks and Chipotle and some local restaurants. The staff was friendly and the room, although dated looking, were clean and the bedding was high quality. We will be back!

Unfortuantely this was a terrible night stay. The ac did not work, the drapes/blinds would not pull tight so we could not keep the room dark. It was a handicap room an d the shower head would not slide correctly (it kept falling off the slide). It was so noisy. Pounding on the walls at 5 am, gardener at 8 and off course all of the airplane traffic. It was horrible.We reported everything to the front desk and said they would look into it.

It’s a nice place staff was great. The only thing I was surprised at was the $45 pet cleaning fee in addition to a daily $50 pet stay fee. This was not anywhere in the info when booked. Plus I sent an email to the hotel asking about info I needed if I was bringing a small dog and they never replied.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful - from the courtyards to the lobby to the room, I loved every detail. I did find it challenging to find my room initially, but once I found it I was able to figure out a nice easy route between the room and the lobby.
