Just a short walk to the local wine bars and restaurants or eat in. We have a range of take away options or you can cook in our well appointed kitchen.
Mount Hutt is a 40 minute drive so this location is perfect for skiers. and if you need some equipment we are 100 metres from Gnomes ski hire.
Boaties will love our close location to the Waimakariri River, Lake Coleridge and 2 hours from Lake Brunner. Our place is a great location to come for a weekend break. Off street parking for guest vehicle or bring your boat or classic car. We can offer a locked yard for parking. Catch the tranzalpine for a day trip, we are a 3 minute walk to the Darfield Railway Station.
Located a 20 minutes drive east to Christchurch airport, Ruapuna raceway, and 25 minutes to Riccarton raceway in Christchurch city. Or if you prefer head in a south east direction to Rolleston and enjoy a splash in the aquatic centre.
Scenic walks take in picturesque views, close to local fishing spots, or if that's not your thing try our local shops, horse trekking, hot air balloon rides, watch local weekend sports at the domain or at the local hotel .

Great place to stay for skiing Mt Hutt. Owners were great, the family loved the tour on the day we were leaving. Smart TV was a real treat for us lol. We had a very enjoyable stay with 2 days skiing. Would definitely come again!
