Great Value for an ocean front hotel
Nice hotel on the back end of a total renovation .. beds are very comfortable, kitchenette is good but no utensils, but they do give you dish towels and soap. Some rooms have the full refrigerator as seen on the website, and some of us do need a real freezer for long stays, and some rooms have a small cabinet refridge. Some room had a table and 2 chairs, and others have no chairs at all. So you sit on the bed or nothing. The rooms that say "city view, also have a view of the ocean, just not as much. It's very nice and your vehicles are very safe at night as long as you have your parking pass in the windshield, or off it will go.

This place is a diamond in the rough. I was a little nervous at first because it’s down the strip a little away from some of the bigger hotels and I traveled with my kids. Turned out to be very clean, the staff at the front desk was so welcoming and helpful. The halls are renovated. The room was a decent size with a balcony and we had the view of both the pool and the ocean. The shower felt amazing. The morning sunrise was breath-taking. The floor was quiet for our two nights and at no time did I feel unsafe. The area isn’t far from Buc-ee’s Hollywood at The Pavillion Movie Theater and the Tanger Outlet mall. There was sufficient parking, just be sure to put the sign on your dash so you don’t get towed. Turned out to be a nice place for our mini-vacation and the affordability was the icing on the cake! My only complaint is housekeeping attempting to enter our room at 8am because we didn’t answer the door soon enough. We were set for a second night so I was a little puzzled. My door stopper didn’t permit. I’m not sure if that’s procedure but, besides that I appreciate the quaintness of the place and I would definitely return.

Comfortable beds hot water are important. Only hand towels when checked in. Trash not taken out several times when room refreahed. The more they cleaned the more long black hair everywhere...

At 2 am in the morning someone tried to enter our room. Luckily, I had the door latch and nobody was injured. The front desk double booked room gave a stranger our room key. Things escalated, front desk wouldn't answer phone, police were called, we left that night and hotel refused to refund. I have been to crappy places before, trust, do not fall for the cheap price.

The room was excellent, but the lobby was poor. There was a lot that needed fixing, but some things were fixed during my 1 week stay. The elevator was broken for 5 days but was working when I left. The pool was good. Both stairs to the beach needed work.
