Did not feel like a 5 star hotel. Staff could be more friendly, especially during check-in process. Felt very transactional. Rooms are dated and not so good. The photos made it seem much better than it is. Don’t think I’d stay here again. It was quite underwhelming considering Taj brand reputation.

We spent a week at the Taj, and the experience was outstanding. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the interior was great, with clean and comfy rooms. The atmosphere is hard to describe; you have to experience it!

Hotel with great views

Taj remains the luxury brand it has been for decades. The professionalism and service culture there is gold standard. It is a hotel that has all those little extras that make you feel it is not just any hotel, but a five star luxury hotel. Only negative remark I have is that the noise level in the breakfast hall is too high. But I think that goes for most hotels and probably difficult to do anything about when you have so many guests.

In short, my stay here was exceptional. The level of service was such that I did not want to leave the hotel. I have to make a special mention for the service received from two brothers in the lounge, Vikas and Vishal. They both went above and beyond which made my stay both memorable and enjoyable. I would most definitely stay at the Taj again.

Short Family Break at Taj

Amazing stay and wonderful Buffett..Chef Sameer Sangal was proactive and was very interested in making family comfortable and offering to do extra effort to make our stay more pleasant!!

Best hotel stay

Taj Palace is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The staff is the best ever - Rajinder in Capital Grill, Dr Goswami and his staff (Shishpal, Twinkle, Ankit and many more) are amazing. I would strongly recommend this hotel and booking their spa for any treatments you need
