I recently stayed here charming older hotel in Sanur, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. While the accommodation is starting to show its age in some areas, there are many redeeming qualities that make this a great place to stay. The location is unbeatable—right on the beach, with just a pathway separating the resort from the sand. It's perfect for those who enjoy a morning walk or some people-watching throughout the day. The room size was surprisingly spacious, providing plenty of comfort and room to relax. The food at the hotel was delicious, offering a variety of options that catered to different tastes. But what truly stood out to me was the staff. They were incredibly friendly and attentive, always going the extra mile to make sure guests had a pleasant stay. One of the best aspects was how quiet it was at night, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep. If you’re looking for a place that offers tranquility and easy beach access, this hotel in Sanur is a great choice, even if it’s starting to show a bit of wear and tear.

Property is old, so it does need renovations. The white towels were sometimes grey and shabby. The hand towels all need to be replaced. Gardens are lovely. Staff were attentive. Breakfast was good,location amazing. Noreen

Staff have given up . Rooms dirty . Could be awesome hotel . Nobody there really cares about the place . You can sit in the restaurant for an hour before anyone comes near you . Even though your the only ones there .

Please Hotel, you are in a great beachfront area but you need to look into updating your bathrooms and plumbing. The breakfast is ok and the rooms are a good size (junior suite) The pool is lovely and we used it often. This hotel just needs a little clean up. You can still have a lovely old hotel if it is maintained. Please try harder because you are worth it!

Beach front location was beautiful but the condition of the hotel rooms were poor. Mattresses were extremely uncomfortable, our aircon leaked on the floor causing mould in the wood surround. The showers and vanity sink and under the sink were mouldy as well as the toilet roll holder. The staff were lovely. But would not recommend unless some upgrades take place

This property needs alot of attention. Towels are not acceptable. Breakfast is cold very limited..it is not good value for money should be $30 per night. No atmosphere at all. Creepy crawls on coaches. I have been coming to Bali for over 20years and stayed in many hotels & villas if it was refundable i would have move.i wouldn't recommend to anyone to stay here. Very disappointed.

The Best Exotic......
Have you seen the movie The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. Well its a bit like that. Tired to say the least. Cleanliness was debatable, the hotel appeared grubby and unhygienic. Our bathroom needed a decent scrub and was barely cleaned during our stay. The staff were all very nice but everything has a cost associated. We wanted a late checkout....yes of course came the reply. 100,000 per hour. ( to be fair....only about £6 per hour ). We had to change rooms part way through our 4 night stay, the air con broke. But we did get a better room....cleaner and bigger....and definitely cooler. We had originally booked a suite and our second room felt more like the room we should have had from the start. Would I go back??? No...but it was on the beach, the pool area was lovely and we did enjoy our Bali stop over. Just don't go with high expectations. The 3 photos show the best of it.
