Our check in was actually good, but in the middle of the night the toilet wouldnā€™t flush. We called the front desk at 6am and they let us switch rooms which was ok, but then expected the full pay for all this. We felt that we should have been given a discount for this.

The staff was nice but the facility was in bad shape, our room had no drapes and toilet would leak occasionally. The pool water was green. I would hesitate coming back, price is good but there's probably better options next time we are in the area

The location is a bus and a train journey from the centre in the middle of not very much. That was the big negative. The initial receptionist who booked me in handled my mistake about dates extremely well notwithstanding a lack of support from Expedia. She was an excellent new recruit. A more experienced staff member almost undid her excellent work by changing my room key without telling me. The all-nighter on checkout duty was excellent. Breakfast and coffee were included from very early in the morning. Teams in a local rugby tournament stayed there and were so charming they added to the ambience. The room was comfortable with an easy to operate shower and was clean.
