The hotel overlooked the Des Moines River and the State Capitol making the views at night stunning. There was a little road noise at night but that is expected staying downtown. Had a great time visiting Des Moines.

The room was very clean. Hotel was nice. No disappointment there. The down side was the drinks for the continental breakfast. The orange juice and coffee were watered down to where there was no taste to either drink. The OJ looked like pineapple juice and the coffee was brown water

We stay in Des Moines a few times a year and always choose the Comfort inn. It's close to downtown, the events center, and a bunch of other stuff. The rooms are always clean and the staff is great. The breakfast is also really good!
