Corsica stays as unique as you are

Accommodation In Corsica

Travellers planning Mediterranean holidays should not neglect the chance for a companion trip to Corsica, a mountainous island just a short ferry ride away from Rome. Although this lovely isle belongs to France, its vibe retains elements that are distinctly Italian. There's truly something for everyone here, from top-notch cuisine to world-class hiking, beaches and historical monuments. Stay in one of our Corsica hotels and take advantage of the natural splendour and rich island culture. It's no surprise many people call Corsica the Isle of Beauty!

What to Do in Corsica

Drop off your bags in your Corsica accommodation and set out to discover the island. Admire the grandeur of the Calanche Cliffs or the Bavella Needles among hundreds of other beautiful natural sites. If you're a history buff, check out prehistoric menhirs at Filitosa, explore the ancient city and citadel at Bonifacio, and visit Casa Buonaparte, the birthplace of Napoleon (or should we call it the "Napoleon Complex"?).

Don't forget to save some time for beach-lounging and exploring the town while you stayu at one of our hotels in Corsica. Enjoy the local music and dining, and "of Corsica," don't hesitate to treat yourself to a few glasses of wine—you're on holiday, after all!

Getting to & Around Corsica

Fly into Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport (FCO) in Rome. From here, drive or take the train up to Livorno, where you can catch a ferry to Bastia on the island of Corsica. The crossing takes about four hours, or nine if you're going overnight. In Corsica, it's easiest to get around by rented car or taxi, but there are also trains and buses available. If you intend to stay more or less in one area, enjoy the island via bike travel.
