NYC Holiday Visit
With the inflated prices during the holidays, we decided to stay in New Jersey and take the bus and subway into the city. Overall this worked out for us. Location was good and there was a bus stop within a few minute walk. The room and the continental breakfast were both satisfactory. The hotel could use some updating, but overall a good stay.

3 nights stay at Confort Inn
Excellent service from the staff. We arrived early from Atlanta 9:00 am , and receptionist was kind enough to let us check in before the Hotel 's check in time 4pm. We were able to take shower, rest and head out to city. Breakfast was really good all 3 days of stay. On our last night at hotel around 11 pm there was a group of guests on same floor as us that were having a party, yelling, loughing out loud and were disturbing my sleep. Called reception reported them, and after 10 minutes nothing else was heard.

Overall it is a great place to stay on a budget. It is a bit far to commute to get to the train to get over to the city but other then that, the surrounding community is nice with plenty places to eat and shop fairly close. But if you are planning to use the train to get into the city, it is about a 35 minute Uber ride to get to the Hoboken station. The free parking is a great bonus though and almost offsets the commuting cost to get to NYC. Overall the place is clean, quiet and a good place to stay.

Reaching out, before my visit, was a bit of trouble with the hotels local staff. When we arrived,and checked in, the room set up was not quite the description that was agreed on by purchase. I believe it was more the fact that there was 3rd party confusion(when booking the attached rooms), and the way it was handled by the staff at the hotel location. I even came down to find support from external customer support. I was required to prove to them(screen shots, emails, people I spoke to etc...) what they claimed I was getting; then not having the option of what I booked, With no refund availabilities. So when we got to the hotel, we still didn't really get the two queen beds in each room, but they were connected, which was the important part. Over all, it was a runn of the mill place to stay. Grateful it wasn't worse but happy it was clean? Most of the staff were genuinely kind and helpful, like rays of sunshine; compared to some of the shade I was getting off others. I would recommend this hotel to others, depending, and believe this hotel still has wonderful potential. It is nestled in-between N.Y.C and a quaint yet vibrant part of N.J. Lending easy highway access and Bridge access to New York.
