Holiday home "GITE & JARDIN LE COQ ROUGE" centrally located

Eguisheim - a "pearl" in the middle of Alsace and surrounded by vineyards. The medieval village with its unusual round shape and the flowered half-timbered houses was not without reason in 2013 voted the most beautiful village in France. At a height of 210 meters, the village is only 5 kilometers from Colmar and nestles gently in the vine-covered hills. This lively and active place offers many historical and tourist attractions. Our holiday home "Gite & Jardin le coq rouge" is located directly on the "Rempart" of the former city wall and was probably built in the 17th century. Century built. They use the entire holiday home with the associated land and garden for themselves and can enjoy on foot in just a few meters away the advantages of the place with its attractions, restaurants and attractions.

Our holiday home offers on 60 m² and 3 floors a fully equipped kitchen with gas stove, convection oven, dishwasher and refrigerator. The dining area adjoins the kitchen and from here you also have access to the terrace and the garden area. In addition to seating and relaxation chairs, you will also find a Plancha gas grill here. On the first floor then the master bedroom with a new 160x200 cm large box spring bed, so that your stay is not only pleasant but also extremely comfortable. The adjacent bathroom has a 90x90 cm corner shower, sink and toilet. For families with babies there is also a changing table available. On the second floor is the second bedroom with a box bed 140x200 cm and a single bed 90x200 cm. On this floor is also the TV and media room. In addition to the 40-inch flat screen TV with extensive TV channels and German satellite TV is also a media box with Internet access incl. Eg Youtube, browser and various Android games available. A DVD player and various DVD's complete the media offer. Throughout the house you also have free access to high-speed Internet Wi-Fi (fiber optic network).

In the basement of the house you will find a washing machine and a condenser for free use. The house has a thermostat controlled central heating and can therefore be fully used in all seasons.

The house is a non-smoking house that can be smoked on the terrace and in the garden.

Quaint and comfortable in a great location
The Gite and Jardin Coq Rouge is a lovely and cozy townhouse with a really beautiful garden. It is located on the ancient outer ring street in quaint Eguisheim. The owners thought of everything for our stay and is lovingly decorated on theme. There are a lot of steps which could be a challenge to some. It was great to have a washer and dryer. The parking is convenient behind the Gite but can be full and we had to go out each morning to feed the meter. The owners did advise us of a multi day payment option which we would recommend using.
