Poor layout in room, particularly position of TVs. Lighting inadequate. Could not reach bedside shelf from bed. Shelf should have drawers under. Shower rose holder was broken. View of Brisbane River was fantastic.

We had bridge/city/river view and its a beautiful outlook. Room itself was very nicely appointed without any issues. The location is very handy for the entertainment precinct that Felons bar/grill is part of, but it is slightly out of the way in terms of CBD sites - but that also obviously has its pluses. Loved the close proximity to the riverside walkway, enabling a nice (and spectacular) walk day or night. Pool is gorgeous and the outlook from pool area one of the coolest in Brisbane (on a river bend enabling views in both directions). However the pool is pretty tiny for the size of the hotel (bit of a juggle to have personal space if more than ten people are in it), and only has ten pool loungers in a quite small pool area, so guests may not get lounger or even somewhere to put your belongings on nice pool weather days. Also, the bridge does completely shadow the pool area a bit earlier in the day than expected, but the bridge looming above is a strong/unique/beautiful visual feature. Roof bar area is nice and has the same gorgeous outlook as pool though again its slightly small for size of hotel. On a minor/picky note we found the paintings in all hotel public areas (nearly all portraits of celebrities or somewhat famous people) covered too much of the walls - dozens of them in some places - to a point where its cluttered looking and overwhelming.

Overall this is a very good hotel. I stayed in a large balcony room which has a lovely entertaining space. This is the second time I've stayed in the room. I would go back but there are points to be improved upon. House keeping did not clean the balcony area. One of the chairs was broken. One side of the internal space is dark and can do with some lighting. The room service desk does not always answer. The single blade disposable shaver in the vanity kit is useless. The "state of the art" gym is a small room with a few cardio machines. a fit ball and a dumbbell hex. That said, the view under the Storey bridge is stunning as is the hotel location and rooftop bar. I will stay there again but would love to see some improvements.

The property is in an ideal location for dining under the Storey Bridge. The room was unique with greenery from floor to ceiling directly outside your window giving absolute privacy. The room was comfortable with a king size bed a dark and quiet. We enjoyed a meal at Fellons and a cocktail at the hotels rooftop bar. The hotel's cafe served a lovely coffee and breakfast in the morning. We were able to just walk in for breakfast. You will not be disappointed by this hotel. Prepay your parking at the time of booking for convenience.

The location is excellent and I love the interior design, and accessibility to multiple dining options. Poor service let us down, we asked for towels 4 times while at the pool, waited 1.5 hours for towels to be delivered.

Room was not properly cleaned - used tissues on the floor by couch. Lighting controls difficult to operate - could not turn all the lights off, particularly bedside. Had to unplug standard lights because no on/off switch. No facial tissues provided, no bottled water. Pictures of resident artist, his wife and child fill the corridors, reception and the rooms - a vanity project not necessary in my opinion.

Lovely room with great facilities and location but the promenade rooms are noisy on level 1 with Felons/Mr Percival right across the road. In the morning noise from delivery trucks early on. Poor sound proofing from hotel hall with sound travelling in to room from other guests/doors etc very easily.
