The Grindle room was very spacious. I loved the fireplace and the kitchenette with all the accessories, especially the full sized fridge with a freezer so I could re-freeze my ice packs. The jacuzzi in the room was a treat! I especially liked the extra lighting in every area of the room and the curtain that separated the living area from the bedroom. The only thing we didn't like was that the floor outside the bathroom in front of the closet creaked REAL bad every time we went to the closet or bathroom. It creaked horribly. I feel sorry for whoever is downstairs. Other that that, we were very comfortable in this room.

Spacious rooms. Check-in office was a little bit hard to find because it is on the neighboring property with a different architectural theme. Great location and a wonderful spot for visiting RMNP.

If you after a new Marriott experience this hotel isn't for you. It is however FANTASTIC! It's a little dated/rustic - for us Europeans think French Ski Lodge. Staff were super friendly. Our room was spotless. We booked a bigger room which had a, King Bed,, kitchenette with microwave and hotplate, spa tub, gas log-effect fire, sofa and arm chair. On the patio was a gas BBQ (also spotless) and a gas fire-pit table with views of the mountain tops. We loved how quiet it was and the ability to ave a drink by the fire-pit then cook and evening meal (Safeway in town). Hotel now shares facilities with Motel next door, free Continental breakfast was good but busy. Staff however almost literally ran around to keep everything topped up. Whilst not the newest property by far this was the favourite hotel of our vacation and is off course on the doorstep of the Rocky Mountain National Park. Oh and they provide free popcorn and SMORES in the evenings.

Nice Estes Park stay
Great location close to downtown but far enough away to be quiet. The property is lovely and very well maintained- nice to have chairs outside and some outdoor games on the lawn. The hot tub is epic, but the indoor pool was a little too cold - also nice there is a shower room by the pool. Room was on the small side and the mattress was too soft - we also didn’t expect to have the shower/tub in the room - that was a little odd. Nice breakfast and coffee and granola bars were always available which was a thoughtful touch- they also have popcorn all day and s’mores in the evening when it’s not fire season. Front desk staff was very friendly except one incident where one of the girls seemed to be nervous when my husband went in to get me a coffee. Overall nice place and we’ll definitely come back.

When we arrived we were told we should have been called because we had to move rooms during our stay. Other than being told our room the first night was not available the second night. We then moved into another room that was identical to the first. It was very inconvenient as we were there for a wedding and made it difficult to get ready etc
