Check in was easy and worker was nice. Problem started in the hallway the front entrance was dirty there was bandages wraps on the floor. Room looked neat enough… but carpet was dirty, walls over by coffee maker was splattered with coffee, and there was a blood stain on the bathroom tub. I had drove 8 hours and was going to call down but there is no phones to call down and I exhausted and was just going to notify then the next morning. The line to speak to the worker was very long so we decided to return after breakfast… there was always a line to wait to talk to someone. Our check out morning the worker (different from the first) saw us standing at the desk and continued to conversant with some other guest. He started to walk out and told us to just leave the keys on the desk and we were good to go. We actually remembered that we had left something behind and went back to see if we could get it… worker was still outside talking to other guest and we were able to just grab the key off the desk go get what we forgot and return the key. And the worker was still outside! After the long drive I did not have the patiences to even try to talk to anyone… not clean, and not great service.

Accommodating staff clean rooms and facility. Reasonable price. Accessibly to downtown Estes Park with a nice view & location. The downside is, very limited options for breakfast. The Elk chili is not for me & my family, I hope the management will take this into consideration since not all tourist with kids are not willing to experiment & try exotic food. Add more options & variety for breakfast like simple & warm breakfast, ex. scrambled eggs, sausage & beacons & some pancakes or waffles. Because tourists will also remember the breakfast menu & will definitely comeback for that & will highly recommend the place. Nevertheless with had a great time at Estes Park.

This update on an older Estes Park hotel is looking really good. The room was just beautiful, though the shower was very hard to turn on. I had a little balcony and a table in my room. Very nice, especially for the price. Lots of other people have talked about the breakfast… It is definitely unusual, but entertaining and tasty. I liked the oatmeal bar best. The staff is young and energetic. I will definitely stay here again, especially if they keep their prices competitive for Orbitz customers

I really enjoyed the staff, they were genuinely kind. Everyone was so thoughtful when I asked about Estes in general. Shepherd was extremely polite and very funny. I appreciate the warmth form the team. We will be back for Thanksgiving.

Most of the staff was very friendly. Our curtains were broken in our room and I was handed some clips to close them. Bathtub was so clogged it was gross. Asked for a roll away bed and was told they had none by someone because of the remodel and saw 2 of them in the closet next to our room. Even though when I checked in, the other staff member told me she would get one for me. Pool never had towels for guests unless you asked.

I would not stay there agian, its very old small size toillets, their buffet breakfast consists of spicy elk stew and salad bar most guests wont eat there $489 is way too much for two days stay..

Pay attention to the reviews. This property rates right between a motel 6 and a motel 8. Not great for about $150 per night. THE CONS: * It is not ugly, but barebone basics. No desk/chair, vinyl flooring with no rugs * Bad job of caulking in shower, it is full of mildew * A glade scented air freshener was tacked onto the room air conditioner, the smell of it was overpowering * Pretty bad breakfast, we decided to go out to breakfast because both days because it was so bad * Our TV did not work. We called the front desk 3 times. The young woman told us she would be over shortly twice, but instead left when her shift ended. On the third call to the front desk, the young man came right over and fixed it, apparently housekeeping moved an infrared receiver and once it was replaced, everything worked fine. * Not a big deal because everyone brings their own phone now, but there are no phones in the room. You use your private phone to contact the front desk, as it has the ONLY phone in the hotel. THE PROS: Location
