I love the Basin Park Hotel. Near all shopping, restaurants, and nightlife. No need to worry about parking due to their own parking lot and shuttle service.

When thinking of a stay in Eureka Springs two hotels usually come to mind immediately; Basin Springs and Crescent. For this stay Bikes, Brews, and Blues were in town. Basin Hotel has an awesome balcony for listening to live music in the amphitheater next door while enjoying a drink or snack. The hotel is right in the middle of all downtown activities without having to hike very far.

Mediocre with friendly staff
Overall mediocre experience. The bed was extremely soft to the point of being difficult to sleep in. The staff was friendly and the shuttle service to the parking lot was nice. Hotel is in need of some renovations as it seems to be old and has issues (hot water took forever and was hard to regulate). Not sure this was worth the price considering I paid as much as a really nice hotel in another city but if youā€™re in a pinch or just like old historical hotels itā€™s alright.

The people there were so nice, & friendly, as well as helpful. The parking is off-site, but there is a shuttle included with the activity pass (also covers the parking). There is not a pool, but the shuttle will take you to their "sister hotel", & we had free use of the pool there, whenever we wanted. There were also multiple activities, at no charge, every day, plus several activities at a individual cost. Nice place - definitely recommend, if you are going to be in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

Above and beyond
My husband and I booked a 2- night stay during Bikes, Blues, & BBQ. At check-in, we were greeted warmly and given all the information we needed about the property to know our options for dining and activities. We found our room to be comfortable and inviting, and we were impressed by the deep bathtub and spacious shower. We then decided to have dinner outside at the Balcony. Service and food were both excellent. We then took our server's suggestion and had an after dinner drink at Jack Rabett's, where again the drinks and bar service were excellent. We enjoyed a good night's sleep on the very comfortable bed. The next day, we had a medical emergency off property, and when I came to the hotel to grab our things and check out a day early, the very kind and thoughtful desk clerk told me he was refunding our fee for that second night, even though it was well past check out time and past time to cancel the 2nd night. I was floored and extremely grateful because I expected to pay for both nights instead of just the one. Also, i want to shout out the parking shuttle driver, as well, who was also very helpful and friendly. All around, great staff and accommodations, and we'll definitely stay here again!

The staff was so helpful with suggestions for things to see while we were staying there. They have free parking and a car shuttle service which was very helpful. The hotel is a gem to stay in with its rich history. It is located in the the center of Historic Downtown which made it easy to walk to shops and restaurants.

Stayed here when attending a wedding on the 6th floor of the hotel. Wedding venue, food, & staff were wonderful. Our room was on the 5th floor and head of the bed was significantly lower than the foot. Staff did come up and "leveled it" but as soon as you got into the bed whatever was holding it up slipped. Also, there was a plastic bottle left by a previous occupant with what looked like urine on top of the air conditioning unit...missed by housekeeping. I get this is an older hotel and we were paying ease if access to the wedding venue, but I would not recommend staying here. The slanting floors throughout our room while some may have found charming was lost on us. Finally, the parking situation. The website prepared us for parking off-site and the shuttle driver was very nice, but having to park so far was less than convenient.

Great location if you want to be downtown. If you like historic hotels, youā€™ll probably love it. The negatives: there were a couple of times when the shower would spontaneously change temperature, and the carpet was worn and dated. We enjoyed the bar and restaurant. The shuttle was a nice perk except we frequently had long wait times because they only had one driver working on Labor Day and the shuttle serves bothe Basin Park and Crescent hotels. We enjoyed using the pool at the Crescent Hotel too. The beds and linens were nice and comfortable. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Basin Park Hotel. It's a beautiful building. The staff and all the employees were friendly and seemed to enjoy each other. The vibe in the town is just lovely. Everyone we met made us want to live there or at least visit more often.

The hotel is nice however there are a few things that could be improved. 1. Have coffee everyday of the week not just Monday thru Friday. 2. Check in was not allowed until 4 pm early check in should be allowed because check out is at 12 and there is a charge for late check out 3. The service pool charge is ridiculous it should be at the customers discretion. The one bright spot was Bennie the shuttle service driver he was so nice 4.there were noises in our room at night not sure what the noise were sounded like sawing and sanding maybe it was hard working ghosts

Great location / Bad air
The location is awesome. The shuttle to the parking lot is good. The updated bathroom was very nice. The smell of weed / pot was overwhelming and constant. For a hotel that marketed as non-smoking, it was very disappointing.

This is a beautiful old hotel. The location could not be better. Since it is old the bathrooms are SMALL. My traveling companion and I are both about 5ft tall and petite so it worked. We were in the single room. Larger people should book the larger room. Staff were very helpful and there is plenty of on site and nearby dining to enjoy. Will stay again.
