Great Affordable Stay close to Florence
Overall our stay in Hu Firenze was great. The restaurant on location was really cool and tasted pretty great too. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our little house was a big tent basically. Interesting but annoying when people would come check it out or tap on our house (happened a couple times). It was kinda funny but always awkward. We had a bed, closet, mini fridge, and bathroom. They had a shuttle to take you partially into town or you could walk to Firenze Rovezzano (train station). Apparently the buses were on strike? So no bus for us. But overall a great place to launch into Florence for the few days we were there. We enjoyed our stay!

We stayed in a glamping tent here. The property is nice with good amenities. The restaurant was nice however our food was either bland or so salty. The private shuttle was convenient as Italy transit is unreliable and overcrowded. Our tent was okay- clean upon arrival however it was so damp inside. I hung a pair of pants to dry after the rain and it became more damp inside the tent. We had to use the hair dryer to dry our clothes that were sitting out. Also the tent isnā€™t completely sealed and so some bugs/ spiders got into our tent. Would consider a return due to the good price however in another style of accommodation. Also we had WiFi reach our tent (#74) which was nice however they tell you itā€™s only in common areas

The tent was right next to the road. Was able to hear people coughing on the street. The bus was very packed depending on when you went. Hard bed with thin pillows and light switches not easily identified. Otherwise it was amazing. I enjoyed my time here.

We love how it has peaceful & relaxing it is to be there. Basic needs are available since they have a laundry place, grocery store and restaurant/bar. They offer shuttle service for ā‚¬3 roundtrip, which is very convenient since theres only 1 bus line that pss this place and its always late sometimes even for an hour, BUT, the shuttle will drop you off 1.5km from the main historical center. But it is more reliable than the city bus! We tried to grab drinks one night in the restaurant, but the staff passed us around, they said the area was only for diners, and we can look for a table on the bar aide, nobody entertained us, we even went and try to order by the bar and they kept ignoring us or saying wait or point us to another person but then be told to wait. Full 30mins of waiting to be entertained, and nothing so we just left.

Amazing venue with all sorts of facilities available. However our room didnā€™t even have drinking glasses supplied and some light bulbs were out. When we couldnā€™t get our key to work to unlock our room, it was more than half an hour before somebody arrived to assist. Restaurant provided a good meal and supermarket and laundry on site were convenient.

The place is run very old school all manual and check etc. for the bungalow rooms you get zero wifi as it doesn't reach that far and the wifi at the restaurant is slow and drops out every 10 min so if you need to work remotely don't rely on their internet. The cafe and buffet food is very bad so don't bother, just eat in town. The good things are the shuttle bus and they have a grocery store on sight, and a laundry mat. It's kinda far from the town so definitely the shuttle bus comes in handy. If not camping and just trying to save though might worth to spend a little extra and stay in the main town of florence

This was a really great and unique stay. My husband and I are travelling across Europe for the first time, so it was our first time in Italy. We absolutely loved the resort. It was the best part of our trip to Italy by far. The glamping tent was amazing. Very comfortable, clean, and a good price. The on-site market, bar, and restaurant were reasonably priced and made things comfortable within the resort. However, and I cannot emphasize this enough, the Florence transit system is probably the worst in the world. You *need* a car if you want to get into the city of Florence. The busses are often early, late, or not running at all. The bus drivers sometimes donā€™t let you off on your stop. There is no taxi service - they will not pick you up nor let you book ahead. There are no Ubers. Beware of the bike lines as drivers are aggressive and will not stop if you have a green light in the bike line. And biking on narrow cobblestone streets through crowds of people is not for the faint of heart. I would have stayed on the resort for my entire stay in hindsight, as the struggle of dealing with Florence transit ruined my view of Italy forever. There is a shuttle to and from the city, but the drop off point was very far from the things we wanted to do. It could make things easier if you are going to the area it wants you to go.

Hotel restaurant is amazing and food was delicious and nicely priced. Hotel itself needs more activities nothing to do apart from pool go to the bar. You can arrange tours from the hotel but if you wanted a relaxed day at the hotel you will get a bit bored very quickly.

5/10- wanted to like CIT, but too many issues.
My wife and I stayed at Hu Firenze Camping in Town from 9/24/24 to 9/28/24. We had a deluxe bungalow with a queen sized bed. We have mixed feelings about the stay at best. Pros: the staff was helpful in answering all of our questions and requests. Shuttle bus to and from 109 Via G. Orsini is convenient to use, but last pick up from town is 9:30 PM. Alternatively, city bus (#14 line) pick up point nearby with service that runs later. The site itself is clean and the guests here are respectful. Cons: THE WIFI DOES NOT WORK IN YOUR ROOM, ONLY IN THE COMMON AREAS NEAR THE RECEPTION DESK/INFO POINT. This was very inconvenient if you are relying on the WiFi to access the internet without burning through your overseas data plan. Our pillows were thin and not comfortable at all. At least the bed itself was nice. Our AC unit was leaking and the water ended up pooling on the floor; we had to use our towels to soak it up. Lastly, the laundry service was a joke. We paid 5 euros to wash, 4.50 euros to 'dry'. However, the washer cannot sustain a slightly larger load of clothes!!! Our clothes were washed but came out still soaking wet. We put them in the dryer to hopefully dry off, but it barely did anything. Worst of all, we had all these wet clothes and a 7 AM flight the next day! 5/10 at best. I really wanted to like this place, but I wouldn't stay here again.
