Disgusting Room Condition and Poor Customer Service *Rating:* 1/5 *Review:* I recently stayed at this property. Room 300, and had a horrific experience. Upon entering my room late at night (around 11 pm), I was shocked to find 10-15 large cockroaches crawling on the mirror, walls, side table, and sofa. As a solo traveler with two small kids, this was unacceptable. To make matters worse, when I reported the issue to the reception staff, they were uncooperative and dismissive. I was told to leave the hotel at midnight if I wasn't satisfied, despite having already checked in. The next morning, I complained to the front desk, and the new staff member apologized and assured me that the manager would refund my stay due to the inconvenience. However, after multiple follow-up calls, the hotel refused to provide a refund. Expedia, through whom I booked, also attempted to contact the hotel on my behalf, but they refused to cooperate. For a reputed hotel chain charging premium rates, I expected much better service and cleanliness. The experience was equivalent to a low-budget motel. *Issues:* - Severe cockroach infestation in the room - Uncooperative reception staff - Lack of empathy and understanding - Failure to provide promised refund - Poor communication *Advice to others:* - Inspect your room thoroughly before settling in - Be cautious of unclean conditions - Consider alternative hotels with better customer service

Good location for our visit to south Florida. Room was clean and comfortable. There are nearby places to eat. Only downside is that is taking considerable time to get a refund of a deposit onto my credit card - advised the refund can take up to 10 working days.

I left clothes in the closet when I checked out of my room. I checked out at 7:10AM. I realized at about 8:30AM I had left my clothes in the room. I immediately called and told the front desk and asked if someone could get the clothes for me. She said yes. When I called back, I was told there were no clothes in the room. I explained that was impossible, because no one, other than a staff member would have entered the room after my checkout. Upon return phone calls, they stopped answering my calls.

The staff are friendly and courteous. The room was spacious and clean. I was not too far from the concert venue or FLL airport. Some of my concerns are, the bathroom sink stopper was positioned almost to close which caused the water to flow slowly. Also, it was my first time paying for parking at a Hampton Hotel. The parking is $28 per day. You can leave and return as many times as you wish but it will cost $28 per day. However, I sawed a security guard roaming the garage to ensure everything is secure and safe. I do love that. Also, going up the ramp is a little tricky ascending or descending, so please be cautious:). Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this property and I will stay there again.

Workers on a Sunday? Shame on you.
It was on a Sunday and you had workers glueing new carpet sections outside all the doors on my floor, #4. I was not informed when I took the room that this would be happening. It was a Sunday and they were making noise all day. At one point I couldn’t leave the room because outside the door sticky glue covered the entire floor. I don’t understand why it would even be put on this floor. Or at least be informed. This was very poor show from the hotel.
