The property was clean and one part of the hotel was updated. I really liked our room on the 8th floor. The view of the ocean was beautiful. We enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub immensely! Staff are friendly and helpful.

Hot tub was down, was looking forward to relaxing while the kids swam in the big pool. It was hot; though the jets did not work and looked like it has been that way for some time. The pool area was nice and clean. Rooms clean and staff friendly.

There was a lot of work going on around the property, and they did a poor job of communicating it. The elevators were being serviced. The room phones didn't work. They were refinishing the parking lots, and we ended up walking in black tar, and then went to the beautiful basilica, and ended up getting tar all over the floor. Usually when there is a lot of work going on, they comp you with drinks or something or something in the room. We didn't receive anything like that. Even the balcony over looking the beach at the end of the hall was closed for the duration of our stay.

The staff was friendly. Plenty of room to spread out. Restaurant and bar were a plus. Hotel located across from beach and close to grocery store. Felt that there wasn't enough staff to service bar and restaurant in the evening. Water was offered at the valet stand and at check-in which was a nice touch.

Wish parking was free. Had to pay per day. Wish we had a microwave in the room. The only things I can complain on :) everything else was great

November Stay at Hilton
Adrian, the Valet, was outstanding. He was very friendly, efficient and did a wonderful job assisting us in parking our car and helping us with our luggage two times to and from our room. Still have a hard time believing that the Hilton still does not have a functioning phone system. We have stayed there several times over the past several months and there has every time been the issue of no phone service in the rooms. Poor!!!
