Great stay!
Great stay for the price! Service was excellent. Room was very clean, our only “complaint” would be the bathroom was tiny in our room but was not a big deal to us. Great tv options and conveniently located.

It is very old, however they kept the bedding and linens very clean. We did see dead bugs in the room. But it's wooded around there. A bear came to visit in the parking lot in the morning which was nice.

We had issues with our TV. We talked with the office and when we got back from Gatlinburg we had a new TV in our room.

The first thing I want to say is that the staff was amazing. They were very helpful, sweet, kind and friendly. The biggest complaints were that our bathroom wasn't cleaned properly, there was hair in the shower and on the walls. There wasn't a coffee pot in the room or tea, you have to pay for ice (I've never been to a hotel that there wasn't a free ice machine) we didn't have any hand soap or a bar of soap to wash our hands after using the bathroom, no laundry bags. The air conditioner was messed up making our room and everything in it really damp. The railing on the top of the balcony was kind of loose and wobbly making it feel a little unsafe. The internet went down and was down for half a day which meant you couldn't use the tv either and this was during a time that we had planned on staying in for most of the day at the hotel. The room also needed a couple of lamps, it was pretty dark in there. The shade for the window was amazing. It was one of my favorite window coverings I have seen at a hotel bc it felt private since you didn't have to worry about the curtains parting and someone being able to see in. The check in process was super easy and the gentleman who helped us helped recommend some things to do and places to eat. The staff was always there if we were to need something. The refrigerator and microwave were great and worked very well. If those few things changed that were complaints, I would recommend this hotel and I would stay again.

Clean-ish hotel, great price, but unfortunately they have what they describe as a “city mandated smoke alarm” in the middle of our first night the smoke alarm went off in all of the rooms while we were sleeping. I was blow drying my hair on our second day, and the smoke alarm went off. The staff banged on the door and my boyfriend answered, they insisted we were smoking in the room and demanded to come inside. We declined and asked for privacy, we weren’t dressed. They continued to knock on the door and harass us and said the police were called. They made us leave the door open. I went to the office to complain about the treatment and they gave this long story about how the police are “automatically called when smoke alarms go off,” when I was genuinely trying to discuss their behavior, not the system itself. This seems like a gross misuse of community resources, if it’s even true….i wouldn’t stay here if you have any indication of drying your hair in the room. Spend a few more bucks and go somewhere else.

Room smelled horrible. Bathtub was nasty. Sheets on one of the beds had a fresh stain of blood or pizza sauce. Didn’t get close enough to tell but they had not been washed!

Basic hotel outside central Gatlinburg. Quiet. Bed comfortable. Fridge with freezer; microwave. Could do with a good clean & minor repairs (toilet roll holder) Good value for money but not fancy.
