Itā€™s important for people to know that if you book this property in the summer there is no air conditioning! It was 33C when we stayed there and there wasnā€™t even a fan in the room. Also, website said there were outdoor games (badminton etc) and board games in the lobby for the kids but we couldnā€™t find any and there are no staff on-site. Overall itā€™s a charming lodge but perhaps better for a winter stay.

Rowan was very nice and we loved the location. We were in room 10. I canā€™t speak for the other rooms, but the bed linens really need to be replaced. The pillows were flat and awful. Plus the bottom sheets were stretched out of shape and would not stay on the beds while we slept. Other than that, it was fine.

Beautiful and quiet. We were lucky enough to be the only lodgers for the one night. Every part of this lodge is beautiful and comfortable. Beds and bedding are lovely. Nespresso machine and a mini fridge that is actually cold! Staff was so welcoming - we will be back!

Listing made it look like a true condo with living room and fireplace. What it is is a hotel-like room with 2 queen beds, common area living room and fireplace downstairs. There was a fridge in the room but only microwave was a small one downstairs in the common area. Good mattresses. Wi-fi never worked. Good location. Hot tub out back looked like it hadnā€™t been used since winter.
